I just love this breed. My days of owning a huge dog are about over. My dobe is 110lbs, but he’s getting old. I don’t think I’m physically up to doing the training again at my age. I’m going to miss him and the larger breeds.
@marywilson14422 жыл бұрын
I feel you on the age thing and owning larger breed dogs. But you can also adopt senior dogs that have already been trained and just need somebody to take over loving them. Some of their owners may have passed or may have moved into senior citizen apartments where they can't have larger breeds. And they need someone to take them in.

Training JJ I have had to do a ton less work due to BW. BW tires him out every morning and evening wrestling so that takes one thing off my plate. BW is so well trained JJ picked everything up super quick being around him. That was my fear getting JJ.....being older and suffering from a chronic disease some days are rough af. But I have managed and so happy we moved fwd getting a 2nd.

That was awesome a day at the mall. These two are such good ambassadors for the breed. I was really surprised by Justice though we know that Bruce Wayne can handle the crowd. But Joey showed his strength today. Even by the way he was just laying down and tapping out for a minute. It shows how relaxed and calm he was. How safe and trusting of you two knowing that you wouldn't put them in a bad situation.👍🏼

Honestly, education doesn't matter. I feel bad for good people like this with good dogs, because the reality is 90% of owners of these bully breeds are tiny dick hood rats that want a guard dog and to look tough. They have zero interest in raising a good dog.

Your video makes me miss my Rocco so much. He was a brindle Corso and I lived in Boston when I had him. He went to work with me every day and we had to walk past Fenway Stadium to get home. If the crowds were coming into the stadium or exiting it would take at least an extra half hour to get home because Rocco would lie down on the sidewalk, roll over and wait for the belly rubs to begin. I lost him a couple of years ago and my current dog is a rescue from the pound, but I would love to get another Corso to be his buddy. Great job with the dogs. You guys are such great ambassadors for the breed.

SOOOO NICE! A socialised dog is a happy dog, you don't have to correct him as much as a dog with bad social skills (for what you can't blame a dog, just the owner). I've trained a lot of Amstaffs and Staffbulls the last 20 years, my Batista is a 13y old Amstaff Grampa and the BEST time with this high energetic dogs is, when they are calm in the public and follow you instead of trying to lead you. Outside I can't walk a mile without stopping for pictures and petting - and yes, this must be regulated, too! Otherwise you'll get a dog who is over exited about every person, whats "cute" but annoying, too. Great videos! Thank you!

Subscribe for daily Cane Corso content kzbin.info/door/s-mQPtkpDQoGrJ-zYprrVA I have always taken socialization very seriously and with a Cane Corso I feel it is an absolute MUST if you want them to be a stable canine companion. How can you expect your guardian breed to understand what is not a threat which is 99.99% of things you come into contact with versus the very small possibility .01% of running into a threat. And please do not correct me here I am speaking to the average individual. I understand some of you live in a very dangerous areas and I empathize with you very much. If you want what is not only best for you but what is best for your Cane Corso please take socialization extremely serious. Think of it as life and death for your Cane Corso. Hi guys! I love, love, love your videos!! I'm truly learning so much from you and your fur babies :). I have a question...I'm retired and my husband and I are in the middle of a home build on our farm. I've been looking at the Mastiff breeds for quite a few years and have decided on the Cane Corso but I'd like 2 of them. Should I get one puppy 1st or should I get both at the same time?
@Nil_Sama2 жыл бұрын
Not an expert or anything, but I've had dogs since I was little and am simply sharing my opinion, but I think it's better to stick to one first. Especially if you don't have any experience with the breed, just so that you don't get overwhelmed. And I say this with any breed you choose. When we got our husky, it was definitely a new learning experience, even though I thought I knew quite a bit about dogs, that derpy faced moonmoon destroyed everything I thought I knew, and he was on the tamer side of the husky personality chart! I also think it should be put into consideration that like huskies, cane corso aren't as easy to handle as beginner level dogs. So yeah, I know your question was meant for them, but again, just sharing my opinion, hope it helps~^^

Hey, great job ! I was going to get a Corso 2 or more decades ago, only there was so much negative press on the breed, I decided to go for a smaller breed as in a Red Heeler /Austrálian sheep dog and a Rhodegjan Ridgeback/ Pit. One died of Limphoma st 11years old, and the Heeler is still doing great at 14.7 years old. I kept on telling people a dog park or any place where there are lots of people is the best place to socialize one's dog. Thanks for getting the words put there. My Heeler is just the right smarts temperament for a large triple slide truck camper. I wish you very good times with these great dogs. Chao !
