I got a little nervous when Bruce was about to charge after you said "Okay" and had to grab his collar. Was relieved he listened to you in the end and just went back to the flirt pole when you engaged it with him. Just shows how serious he takes his job and how much love he has for you. GOOD BOYS!

@@jasoncorey No they are not and I 100 believe they would be able to tell it was her if they were given the release command. I think it was suspense on my part that caused me to get a little nervous or I got really into the video

Great video. I have found with my Corso that his protection intensity is way higher inside the home. While outside, he is always very alert, but wont even bark at people walking by the house. He will watch them, but is not bothered a bit. I love this about him. He has no desire to go chase people, or scare them off. In the house though its way more intense. I feel sorry for delivery people sometimes, because he will try to go through the front door when they walk onto the property.

One thing I have come to learn about my girl, is that she is super protective of our house and property. It's really where she reacts to things. I can take her everywhere, and she is on point but nothing like being at home.

Cane Corso’s are my favorite dogs and constantly reading up on them because one day I would like to purchase one. Whew its’s a lot to learn and That’s hood you have books snd such to read upon. it only proves that they sound the alarm when something is wrong. you are good at raising dogs and that kindness you give to your dogs.. so if your good dogs want to bite people, there is something wrong

This was a good video .. the poor Corso’s get such a negative rap but this demonstrates that when trained correctly and the breed is respected and understood they are just magnificent dogs .. it took us 2 years to learn about the Corso’s and understand what our responsibilities were taking on this breed .. the dedication and time with training as been worth every minute.. our boy is 7 now and absolutely the best thing that we ever did 🐾🫶🏼

Thanks for another great video.. My son got pitied 5 years ago & lost him to brain cancer at 3 yr old...😢..The gentleman is a friend and said that when his Corso had pumps he'd "give" a pup inreplacement..Great, Oh My some of you maybe saying..NO. OH YECK NO!..He works 2 jobs & his wife is passive.. & They live in a rental Townhouse with Great Pyrness. She 3yrs now...Not a great place for her to go...Not as far as I'm concerned...I've Breed & trained GSDs & Rotties for 30 yrs..I feel she is going to get lost in her training & she'll have to be tethered when out....Or when they to her parents she'll be able to run...I'm I beginning over protective of her..He is thinking g of saying no at this time & wait till they get there own house..Say that's the best..& like mentioned wifey is a passive person..Pup will run over her...🥴

My 7 month old female Corso is really protective in the house and around the property but when I take her for walks she never barks or tries to chase people or other dogs even if they’re barking at her. She’s alert but she just watches.

I've had rottweilers myself, always walked without a leash, got along with everyone, was just good.. other dogs bit it because it wasn't allowed to bite other dogs. when someone wanted to hit me it couldn't dream of biting them would hit arlarm bark etc but not bite

unless you test the dogs like in shutzhund events, or similar instances of decoys in your home or yard, you will never know...and you cannot use your family as a decoy...maybe the dog runs after a gunshot or when a female in heat being introduce and obeys commands...

when I see your video with the one where another dog is violent, they don't do anything, I think it's hard to have both things, a top trained guard dog and a calm dog that can walk without a leash and that just enjoys life without guard stress. just important when you take it fea it is your job to defend it against all people and animals

I like your videos but for these kind of tests man. You should really get somebody that's not part of your family your dogs can smell that it's you or your lady and not real stranger especially when they are outside with the supposed to be stranger in all reality though

Hire a decoy. You might be surprised / disappointed. There's a lot to training a protection dog. I knew a man who believed his dog would be protect him. He lost his life. His dog was a Cane.

I'm sure he knows this, he's been around dogs/trainers enough. But it makes for good views on content and they are a good deterrent. A dog that can be safe/balanced in public that will do real civil work/real bites are a ton of work plus good genetics .

@kenhofelich if you brought over a decoy in a bitesuit, with a clatter stick and/or meat I'd put money on these dogs not biting him. But wouldn't know without that test. My decoy trainer will do home/in public work once a dog is at very high level.
