I believe Canelo has to increase his punch output to win this fight. I'm just not sure that he can beat Munguia with his usual low punch count. Yes, Canelo is very accurate with his shots but just like in the Bivol fight, I believe Munguia's high work rate could be the difference in this fight. If I had to put together a game plan for Munguia, it would be to, (despite what most think) stay behind his jab for the first half of the fight. Stay behind a long, hard jab and ever so often, throw in bunches. I would not recommend Munguia to go right at Canelo. Doing so would put him in a bad spot, in my opinion. Canelo's accuracy will really be on display if Munguia tries to make it a Mexican dog fight.

My honest prediction: Canelo starts slow, throws 12 punches a round, and eats 15 per round. Loses first four rounds. Steps it up to 13 haymakers per round. Drops and hurts Munguia once, when Jaime slows down a little. Wins two of the next four. Final four rounds - ramps it up to throwing a massive 14 punches a round while eating... full-on eating 18 punches per round by a rejuvenated Munguia for each of the final four rounds. Got to love that granite chin that even GGG couldn't dent, while truly dishing out two beatings to canelo. The judges score not on punches landed, but on those stuffed brown paper bags branded with 'I love Cinnamon❤' they were given before the fight. 💵💰💵💰💵scoring not punches landed but how loud the crowd yelled every time canelo threw a punch.
