Got a great deal from Classic Firearms last week. Drove directly to the range with my other two guns (Sig P365 x Macro TACOPS and SAR9 GEN3). It was fantastic. I shoot it just as well as my existing ones. I may rotate the Sig and this one for my EDC. Great video!

@S.0.G TBH, the 365 and LS aren't too different. The SAR9 GEN3 is the best of the bunch, but they're all SUPER close. I love them all.

If you have a holster for your OG mc9 if the holster is open in the front. The OG mc9 may fit. Some holsters use a light for retention. When you order a holster see if it has an option for a comp. That should leave the front of the holster open to except the longer barrel. Just ordered the mc9 LS also own the OG. You answered my question in the video about swapping the slides to create different variants of the mc9. Thanx for the video. Stay strong and be Safe

Great overview! Agree, if you own the MC9, get the LS, 3 for the price of 2! Love the mag compatibility with my SFX and SC Elite. How much less recoil did the LS have vs the shorter barrel? Thanks again, Num 6:24-26.

I never really thought the MC9 was snappy but the LS is flatter than my shield+ carry comp!

(Repost) Tested my MC9L today against my TP9SC Elite, and Mete SFX. Used Blazer 115 & 124, as well as Sig Crown 124 HPs. No issues with included mag, but did have 2 Fail to Feeds using my SFX 20 round mag in the MC9L (Blazer). Extremely accurate, might not put a red dot on it. Enjoyed shooting it more than my TP9SC, more controllable, Less recoil (even with using an extended mag with inserts). Also had a fail in my TP9SC… the slide locked back with a round in the chamber, thankful for the mechanical load indicator. My Mete SFX was as tack sharp accurate as always (Swampfox red dot). Possibly the failures were all mag or ammo related, but Blazer is pretty reliable. I did have a striker issue with my SFX after a couple hundred rounds, have not had any malfunctions since its return from Canik. My son enjoyed shooting the MC 9L more than my other two Caniks.

@@ryanrichardson5582 The LS is thinner and has a capacity of 17. Its also got more height to it and it's just a little lighter in weight. It's also got a tiny increase in barrel length. I've had the SC myself and both are great guns but I prefer the LS. The SC was just a little too chunky for me to conceal comfortably. Also, the LS is versatile in the fact that you can swap the frame for a shorter one if needed. Hope this helps!

@@KamalaKackles There hasn't been any hard updates on the original MC9 so I can't say if those issues got fixed or not but I can confirm that my experience with the MC9LS has been great. Over 500 rounds with 0 issues. Seems to me that they indeed fixed the issues they originally had. Hopefully that also means they made changes to the original MC9 but can't confirm. I 100% recommend the MC9LS

@S.0.G I assume the grip is longer then a 43x since it holds 17. I think the 43x is my max for grip length. I'm actually more inclined to purchase the original. You can always buy the larger mag if you want more capacity but you can still go down in grip size if needed. Just what I would do.
