I'm sad to see J. Marshall-Rutty move on from Toronto FC because I like the kid and he played in Vaughn, just up the road... But as I've said before, he's a soccer player... And sometimes, it's time for a soccer player to move on and listen to some new voices in training, especially when trying to establish oneself as regular in the starting XI... So I wish Marshall-Rutty the best, but go kid, move on, revive your career, find your game, and keep balling young man... He brought joy to BMO Field on many occasions, so may peace be his journey. It's been a pleasure to have watched Marshall-Rutty's game grow...

With his contract expiring this time next year, there's obviously a high chance David finally gets his move to a top 4 league, but I'm not sure it'll be to the premier league like he's seemingly hoping for. Realistically, I only see a few openings for him within that league. Tottenham - If they sell Richarlison to Saudi and need competition/back-up for Solanke, David will 100% be in the mix. West Ham - All of their CF options are over 30 and at some point, you have to inject youth back into the squad. Newcastle - Would depend on Callum Wilson being sold, but would be fantastic competition for Isak. Outside of that, I do see some other options. AC Milan is a good shout. They just signed Morata but he'll be 32 later this year and they have no quality behind him, they've also shown an interest in signing him in years past. Dortmund is another, league quality is questionable, but they'll always be in the mix for the domestic title and UCL. We'll see what happens, a lot could change in a years time, but I wouldn't be shocked if he signs for one of these 5 clubs mentioned.

I don't want to see David at a big club in the Premier League.... I love him but he has his limitations especially in his 1 on 1 creativity. If he gets that move and doesn't perform he will be heavily scrutinized in the English media.

David is not a killer. His potential could be greater. He probably needs a sports psychologist. It worked for Cristiano and NFL quarterback Tom Brady. It wouldn't hurt.

He gets traded then bernadeschi gets hurt. He would've gotten his playing time if that injury is serious

Liam miller is overrated. He was one of the weakest Canadian players at the last Copa America

Get a grip. You dingdongs need to watch his highlights from last season. He is an exciting player, a good scorer and passer.

Highly disagree a few bad games at copa doesn’t disprove a whole amazing breakout season he had with PNE having ,10 goal contributions playing at LWB . We arnt talented enough to be hating on players like him
