We love to have home canned soup on the shelf for those busy nights! When we want soup and we're not feeling so great who wants to make a batch of soup? Another great reason to have it ready to go!
If you are new to pressure canning I encourage you to check out the many amazing canning queen channels here on youtube!
The first place you want to start is learning and studying safety and the how to! Videos such as these are not a how to and do not go in depth on how to can for a new canner. I am going to throw some affiliate links below for you to check out so you can get started on your canning adventure!

My larger Presto canner that can be double stacked! amzn.to/2Sgwr1W
Some books to help you get started!

This is one of my hubby favorite meals. When he returned home from Vietnam his Mom asked what wanted for supper and ham and beans were made. TFS 👍

Thank you, Anna, for telling how to decrease the gut issues & also for describing the texture of the soup components. I noticed that veggies are regularly good looking in the jars but don't hold up when reheating. I'm only a few months into canning but am learning. Those veggies bu themselves would not be pressure canned for that long, so adding them in a soup to PC is definitely "overcooking" them. Now I worry about people who say to saute or precook these veggies (celery, carrots, cabbage, etc) before adding to the jars with meat & broth bc I've followed their instructions & should test those jars bc I'm sure they will be mush. Ugh! I don't want to PC components separately though... Many Blessings from Deborah in West Virginia!

I like that you show the product after you’ve canned it. Often times you just get the how to video and we never see the finished product.

Thanks for the canning video, it’s best for me to soak my beans over night because I have 😅Crohns , IBS , & colitis.. not to include I’m now ESRD and waiting on a kidney transplant. I love beans but apparently they don’t like my gut and my kidneys don’t like the phosphorus. Lol, so soaking helps with that. 😊

Oh my, im so sorry you’re going through so much!! Do you add vinegar to the soaking liquid? It does help a lot of people better digest them. I have found soaking beans is better for me but I have sibo so it doesn’t do the trick as much as I need anymore.

@@FermentedHomestead it takes a LOOOONG time because of honeys antimicrobial nature. You have to heavily dilute it for normal fermentation to take place, basically make mead, then seal it up with the mother to convert to vinegar

It is super tasty! Great for when you’re feeling icky especially. Honestly it was an extremely old bag we got for free many years back that was long expired back then haha. I think it was a generic store brand?
