I love these Cannonball transformer cars. I also like the E-Class someone wrapped to look like an Accord and the Crown Vic they could change the light signature of but the Audi Ford Taurus S6 Interceptor is probably my favorite Cannonball car.

What is the most efficient drive across America? Meaning, the least fuel used in a vehicle, not a motorcycle. I am into getting the best MPG, the lifetime MPG of my 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage with 34,000 miles is 53.4. I feel like I can do quite good.

It’s hard to take the record seriously as, yes, they did it, but they also had the massive advantage of doing it during Covid lockdowns, and when there were very few other cars on the road to slow them down, and used illegal components, which is against the spirit of the challenge.

@mbd501 I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations is more than 4 years in every single state. But the owner has been bragging about their "record" since COVID. They had 4 years to arrest him and nothing.

@@BicBappy-u9o Who's going to arrest him? Which jurisdiction? For speeding on which road? How fast? They can't prove anything like that in a court of law. You have to be caught in the act to be charged for speeding.
