I ordered 2 of these bikes for my wife and I based on your review. I liked that these were available at my local REI and they offer 2 years of maintenance. I also love that they are ready to go with lights and fenders.

One thing that is worth mentioning is the All Road has a Cadence Sensor, the EQ and Speed have a Torque Sensor for pedaling. Unfortunately, it is not clear on the REI Website. The Staff and a couple of reviewers seem to think all models have a Cadence Sensor for pedaling. I asked REI to confirm again as their service deal is for two years if you are a member. I also asked Cannodale to verify as well. Otherwise, I will buy from a bike shop that can guarantee the torque sensor.

It looks like the Adventure NEO Allroad uses Bafang SR PA14.32.S Sensor which in fact is a cadence sensor.

@@ElectricBikeJournal I talked to Cannodale directly. Here is their response. Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. For our Allroad models, only the Allroad Neo base model will have a cadence sensor. The Allroad EQ and Allroad S models will come equipped with a torque sensor in the bottom bracket. The models that REI has will come straight from us and will have the above sensors. Best, Steve

You could. They have a model with one for reference. That being said I would want to verify from Cannondale that the step thru model would be ok and that it wouldn’t void warranty if doing so.

Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, we don't see any issue with using a Burley trailer.

Sorry to hear that. If memory serves us (as it's been some time) once the bike is powered on hold the + button (button used to increase the pedal assist mode). Hold for 3-5 seconds and the lights should turn on.

You know what the difference between the "Adventure NEO Allroad" and the "Adventure NEO EQ" other then the price? I want something like the "Adventure NEO Allroad" but with front shocks.

There are a lot of differences between the Cannondale Adventure NEO and the Adventure NEO Allroad. Aside from the NEO Allroad being the newest offering from Cannondale, it uses a Bafang drive unit, has more aggressive tires. In general is a more capable "Allround" bike, where as the Adventure NEO thrives around town and on open country roads.

You are correct the front suspension model is $2200. This model is currently $1875

This bike is absolutely terrible I’ve bought 2 separate brand new ones from REI and neither of them have a working pedal assist despite the battery being fully charged
