This park is the perfect place for a small RMC Raptor. That with the Intamin Launch coaster that I can’t spell the name of would be a extremely desirable 1-2 punch for a small park.

Great list! For Skyborne, it has an impressive queue, an awesome pre-show, and the view from the top is nice; but unfortunately the drop is very weak and underwhelming. But all-in-all, Lost Island has a very impressive lineup for a brand new independent theme park built from the ground up.

@@Iver-i1i I want it to survive too but I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t. When the park was announced I knew it was going to struggle. Not only is the local market very small population wise, but the market is already saturated with Adventureland being less than 2 hours away to the west.

this is exactly how you should try to open a new small / medium sized park. get as many used attractions as possible but upgrade them where practical to do so (like new trains on air coaster) then flesh it out with flats and a signature E ticket.

I really hope they’re able to cover the losses of the dry park side with the money coming in from the much more successful water park. this really is a great looking park that just needs a few minor changes and an entirely new marketing team

As cool as it would be to have them get something from RMC, I think a GCI woodie should be their next coaster. It's the perfect ride for those ready for a big thrill, but not ready for inversions yet.

• Who builds a pendelum ride and disables the spinning gondola? I don't get it. This combined with the missing positive forces are a dealbreaker for me personally. • The Gerstlauer Sky fly models were fantastic back then. All in my area got the magnetic breaks/dampers now, so there is no more force in the flips. Kids can't even get them to invert anymore, leaving many guests fairly disappointed. • Matugami is one of my fav. coasters to look at in videos. I'm in love with tiny/compact twister layouts. The more layout one can cramp into a tiny space, the better. This IMO shows who the real creative layout designers are.
@CanobieCoaster4 ай бұрын
The Sky Flys and Sky Rollers are much harder to flip, but I can still do it. But you need perfect technique.
@Fox_on_a_Rollercoaster4 ай бұрын
@@CanobieCoaster I can flip them as well, but I miss the absolute carnage and kids have problems flipping now. It's so sluggish now and the flips are way slower.

i have ridden everything and my list is very similar. extremely easy 1-2! 1. Matugani 2. Volkanu 3. Rokava 4. Skyborne 5. Shaman’s Curse 6. Amara Aviators 7. Mura Fury 8. Yuta Falls 9. Kukui Station 10. Dream Spinner rokava is a really good cycle. kukui has punched above its weight from the start. an rmc would really go crazy.

Getting a raptor or Wild moose is a HORRIBLE idea. The moose is a prototype and the park can't afford to have a 3rd coaster with technical issues. Raptors tend to need tons of maintence and get extremely rough over time. This park can't afford to have its big head line attraction be a mechanical nightmare. They should install a hybrid or standard steel rmc coaster. They are reliable, they bring in guests, they look awsome, and the massive structure would block some sight lines making the park seem less open and empty. Also I keep telling them to plant bamboo. By next year they could have the park full of 10 to 15 ft bamboo groves. They wan be woven together to make covered paths for shade, they can be grown arround the flume to make it feel like ypu are riding through a bamboo forest. And they are so dence you can barely see through them. Whoever is in charge if the landscaping and themeing needs to be fired. It's been a year and all the plants are the same size they were when they were planted. They need somthing quick that will make the park less vast and open.
@CanobieCoaster4 ай бұрын
I'd be happy with a raptor. I'd like to think RMC can make them with minimal issues at this point given it has been around a while.
@askjeevescosby29284 ай бұрын
@CanobieCoaster thing is this park can't afford to have a large investment like that fail. If it is a mechanical problem, they don't have the resources cedar fair or six flags has to keep dumping money into it. Single rail coasters are bad by design. The reason the tubular steel track replaced the old I shaped track was that it was far stronger and distributed force equally. When you have 2 side by side, it isn't bad, but when you have just one, it causes the track to warp as it twists under load. That's why single rail coasters have been a failure. Tidal Twister, harley Quinn, Rail Blazer, Wonder Woman, & kid flash are all mechanical nightmares, and I'm sure the later Raptor models will start to show the same signs the older ones did. The single rail intamin coasters won't fail because they aren't built the same way. They are still tubular track , but the 2 piece joined together to make it look like it's a single rail. But the rails on the rmc single rails are thin and flat. The reason they were using I box track to begin with was the fact that it had to mount to a wooden coaster. It's essentially steel version wooden track the same track design old steel coasters like the schiff wild mice & alen hershal mice and dippers used. The I shape track has been arround for a long time and it was replaced because it was flawed.
@Joelthetimelord yes... it can. We have harsh winters where I am and I have a literal forest of it next to my house. It's so dence I can't see the neibors house. 75% survive the winter and a 10 ft stalk grows in a few days. Bamboo use to grow all across America.
