Good thing you had your steaks the first night.... no fire, let’s move on down stream. The A-holes who built those fires were the same type of guys who leave their beer cans for you to pick up. No respect for nature or themselves as far as I’m concerned . Great trip. Thanks for taking us along.

Great video! Really curious on your camp coffee press cup plunger, is that a set or did you mix and match and where can find it?
@ItsGoodintheWoods3 жыл бұрын
It is a combination of gear. My cup is an old Esbit 440ml cup. And the coffee press is a JetBoil coffee press. The Esbit mug is much lighter that the JetBoil Flash Lite pot that the coffee press goes with, and I got lucky that they work with each other. You can buy the press all by itself from JetBoil. It's not exactly cheap...but it's awesome. @ItsGoodintheWoods3 жыл бұрын
Excellent questions. This is a Wenonah Wilderness, the kevlar model. It is 15'4" long. And quite light. Approximately 34lbs. The seat is located directly in the center of the canoe. for easy solo paddling.

@@andrewmacaulay1585 the side walls of this model taper in drastically. it's wide enough on the bottom to be very stable and capable of a good weight load. However, the walls taper in, to keep the paddler a bit more dry and it allows for the use of a double blade paddle. The taper also gives the illusion of a very slim canoe

@ItsGoodintheWoods3 жыл бұрын
That screen thingy is the Jetboil coffee press. It is designed for use with a Jetboil Flash or Flash lite. But the mug I use (Esbit) is much lighter and less bulky than the Jetboil. As luck would have it, the coffee press fits my mug just right. It's an awesome little system. Jet boil does sell the coffee press separately...here is the link for it. jetboil.johnsonoutdoors.com/parts-accessories/coffee-press-accessories/silicone-coffee-press?_ga=2.267117646.1565852140.1628353284-2065993522.1626800051&_gac=1.187371098.1628355838.CjwKCAjw3riIBhAwEiwAzD3TiUq0lYdxlyCVSoC7sJ2-5CrgoL9L0gHFN9p6W7vUJ4u0-hPnV1_tVxoCHvgQAvD_BwE Thank you for watching the video!
