I’m pretty impressed with that too. Tried to shoot footage with high contrast to see what it can and can’t see and most if not all of the clips aren’t crushing blacks or blowing highlights from a scopes perspective. =)

And yes low noise. There is some in the original file but it’s pretty impressive. Notice a bit more at some of the other base isos but all of these were at 800.

Hey, almost as soon as it was announced I reached out to my sales rep over at AVC store in Miami. They took care of the pre order from there. Even though I’m in NYC going through smaller shops can help.

@@blackburst1 - I'm located in NYC. I ordered via Adorama on the 9th of September and received October 2nd. I was surprised I was in the first batch because I seriously dragged my feet.

@@ROBatGraveShift thanks for the info. I dragged my feet a ton but was really curious to see if Sony had a response to this. Had been waiting for an FX9 mk2 for years and figured as soon as I ordered the c400 Sony would drop a camera I really wanted. Not so, though. Sony had nothing to respond with. So I’m transitioning back to Canon, which is fine caused I have all canon mount glass anyway. I ordered from B&H a few weeks ago. Hopefully I’ll have mine before end of the year.

Hi, it was all handheld (slow mo helped my shaky movement) on the RF 35mm 1.4. And only one clip of the church tower was post stabilized.

Coming from a c300 mkii it feels like home. I have a lot I love and a few things that got me wanting to tweak my set up but over all I’m very happy. Today is its first gig and I’m loving it!

No stabilization. Just one clip was warped stabilized @2:10

I don’t know looks pretty average. Nothing a 5-6 year old camera couldn’t do. Maybe cameras have peaked.

Coming from a c300 mkii this is a noticeable change on our end. Hard to go wrong with all the great tech out there now a days.
