You don’t need to reset , it will say low on ink but will work perfectly.

Hello , no this will no do any damage firstly when you drill in you drill out so most of the plastic comes out and then there is a sponge protecting the filter. Please do not worry we have refilled over 1 million cartridges this way. Thanks 118ink.com

+Key Wizard hello. You can’t reprogram the printer but don’t worry about that. Simply continue to use the ink cartridges. It will show that they are low on Ink but this does not matter because with the refill kit you can continue to refill every time they run out. Just remember that the kit works really well with freshly emptied cartridges. My number one tip is to refill very very slowly. And you will have amazing results every time. Description says 246, the video shows the different cartridges covered in video but 246 isn't one of them. You say be sure you are filling one of the display cartridges before going further. Would it not be simpler to just not list one's in the description that are not covered in the video? Sure would have saved me time.
