instead of talking so much, we had to show the image from these cameras, it would be more interesting.

How you feeling about the IPB Light codec on the R6 and how is it comparing to the xavc files on the c100 mk2? Im currently on the c100 and want to swap to the R6

Hi, I have both C100 Mk2 and the R6 and was wondering the best settings for C log to best match footage in post color grading. The C100 has C log and The R6 has C Log and Clog 3. The R 6 also has settings like view assist, color matrix and color space, do these settings influence how it matches the C100 mk2?

I own the C100 M2 and I'm actually looking to buy a EOS R as my B and gimbal cam. Has a lot of great features, decent autofocus and image quality for the money. Canon sold refurbished bodies for $1225 a few months ago - crazy.

The EOS R disappointed a lot of people but I think it's a solid B-cam choice with the C100 MkII. and that's a good price

Can I know where canon sold a refurbished C100 mark ii? Thank you

I have since bought a refurbished EOS R from Canon in the last 2 months ($1300!) - camera has exceeded my expectations. Great cam to get my feet wet in mirrorless. Really impressive autofocus, image quality, and features.

I won my C100mk2 on eBay for $1200 bucks. A production company in Ohio was upgrading itheir cameras to 4k. After removing their decals it was in mint condition. They took very good care of it. Actually the guy said it was their backup camera and barely used. It was a steal. I use now for my weddings that I work. This camera is a dream to work with. I also have a Gh5 and EOS R that I use if I need 4k footage. I prolly will keep it even if I buy the C200 which I've been hunting for on craigslist and Ebay.

Thanks for sharing. I've been doing a lot of livestream with my Fujifilm camera or Canon EOS R. Only thing that I hate is it stop recording after 30 or 35 mins and I am shooting by myself then there would be few minutes missing but it stop recording.

Don’t get the R6. The overheating issue is real. Shooting 4K for longer than 30 min is awful.

@@KirbyLeeFortenberry after the firmware you can shoot amazing full Frame 4k up to 60p 10bit with atomos ninja in prores.

@@pablomarin1746 oh the specks are awesome. I just can’t shoot longer than 30 min of 4K without it overheating. And that’s 4K 30fps. If you don’t need to do interview style and are doing just small clips it’ll be great.

Well, it’s not exactly “the true focal length” for any particular lens. The word “true” is referring to the fact that we have become accustomed to a 35mm frame size as the standard, with certain expectations of angle of view and depth of field that coincide with that. This is completely arbitrary. I come from an era when professional frame sizes were mostly 120mm, 4” x 5” and even 8” x 10” for critical fashion shots or landscape. 35mm was a throw over from cinema film that started to be used in press photography, beginning with the famous Nikon F1 SLR.

@@BrianKissig I abandoned wedding photography years ago, but still do photo and video for corporate events. No one's ever said to me, "Hey, this isn't 4K." I love the C100MK2 because it produced manageable files that are easy to edit and grade.
