Canon MG 7720 Printhead Cleaning (Not Printing Black or Color Solved!)

Thanks for making this video! I had an issue with the labels on the side of the cartridges interfering with installation. If this happens to others, just rip off the label on the side that is sticking, and the cartridge will then slide in easily. The genuine Canon cartridges do not have labeling on the sides. I contacted smart ink via chat and told them about the issue, so they can let others know. Great customer service from them!!

Our blue/cyan was not printing, so performed the print head cleaning using the cleaning fluid, about 10ml in each one. Waited 24 hours. Now the PGBK (large black) is printing fine, but no colors are printing now. I've run the Deep Cleaning step about 5 times, with new ink cartridges. Any thoughts?

Thanks very much for posting this! I couldn’t figure out how to remove the carriage, & you answered that for me! I currently have a Canon Pixma MG 7520. I have not been happy with it ever since I bought it & it’s time to buy a new printer. Do you recommend the 7720 as shown here?

Wiggle it back there with the printed circuit board facing up. It is tight, but it works.
