sss sss hey there, thanks for your comment. unfortunately I don’t have any personal experience with the sx720 so I can’t give any advice or recommendations as to the actual difference between the two. I will however say that even the 730 hs is not all that great and if you were debating between the two I personally would recommend looking at the Sony a5100. I’m not sure about the sx720 but the sx730 is limited with low light performance and quality overall with video but it is to be expected with the low cost. The Sony a5100 can be found at a similar price (used) on B&H, in my opinion it’s a much better option if you’re in the market for a new camera.

how do you zoom in and out

Fiziwee hey I’m glad you asked, the zoom is controlled in the same area where you press to take pictures (on top of the camera). You turn that lever left and right to zoom in or out. Let me know if you still can’t find it.

Hey Jason thanks for asking, I actually didn't realize I wasn't recording 60fps while recording. I'm still learning how to use this camera but hopefully better videos to come!
