Thanks, nice comparison. Main difference, not even mentioned here, is: when trying to edit further, these iPhone pictures will quickly degrade, while R6 raw files can be pushed hard in any direction without falling apart. This iPhone 14pro is a very powerful computer with a sophisticated automatic picture editing software, which is very effective in rescueing the bad images produced by the mediocre low-cost built-in cameras, making them look their best. The R6, on the other hand, is an excellent camera, with just a very basic .jpg engine included: it's supposed to be mainly shot in raw, with all the heavy 'pixel pushing' to be done in post, at taste.

Oh yeh, the M50 is such a great little camera! After quite a few years I've finally decided to retire it to eBay, mainly because I have had it sitting on a shelf for the last six months. I've had it for like 5 years, over 10K actuations and still managed to sell it for over £300 with the lens. ☺

oh god those iphone colors. lol There is always post processing, wont replace cameras anytime soon, but nice for shooting when you dont have your camera on you/traveling really light. Glad to see good improvement in phone cameras though and the digital IS does look pretty great.

I definitely think shooting inside with artificial lighting is a no no with the iPhone 14 pro - they seem to have been made to excel in outside light - let’s see how the 15 / 15 pro handles it next month👍

Makes sense, It looks like white balance + too much saturation added in post by phone processing I notice it when I shoot with my phone that it makes some of the trees look greener and skies bluer, It looks nice though not exactly completely representative.@@KaiCreative
