Facts my inner child would been screaming it’s Griffey jr!!!
@PantherLights4 ай бұрын
I swear on my mother, I’m watching this on my TV, and I pressed pause to grab my phone to make this exact comment hahaha Ken Griffey Jr. is the literal GOAT. He is, and always will be, my favorite baseball player of all time!
@bergerniklas66474 ай бұрын
I'm sorry, but outside of the USA barely anybody knows who he is. I don't wana down talk him, I guess he is a great athlete. And I suspect he likes that nobody knows who he is since baseball is not a thing in Kenya

I thought he was joking… then I recalled seeing an article about Griffey shooting an NFL game (? Iirc)

Such an awesome piece from beginning to end. Thank you Jared. I shoot with one of the cameras featured here and really appreciate the point being made at the end. When I started shooting wildlife it was all about high megapixels and having the subject fill the frame (essentially animal/bird portraits). I now take a much more environmental approach that I think makes for far more compelling images. Do you see every feather in ultimate detail? No. Do you see and understand the environment that the animal lives in and interacts with? Absolutely.

I loved my trip to Kenya and can't wait to go back! Last time I only brought a canon eos R with a 70-200 f4 and the 15-35 f2.8 and got amazing shots. Went for a family funeral but ended up going to the Masai Mara for a few days. Best thing about going on a safari with you (besides just the potential access to some crazy gear lol) would be talking shop and picking your brain about photography. I also speak a little Swahili which can be helpful 😂

Brilliant photos in this, some of the photos were edited with too much saturation for my liking however they are your photos and the scenes are amazing. It would be super interesting to see something like an R7 in your kit for next time. For people interested in wildlife photography, the saving from a crop sensor camera can go towards glass and it would be great to demonstrate that a crop sensor still captures amazing images. Shouldn't take up too much room in your bag either. Last one, how do you know the photographer was male ... 16:38 .. enough said.
