Confused about FV being described as auto. I use it because I find it easier to adjust shutter speed, aperture and ISO, but I don’t let the camera decide. It just gives me an alternative to using three different buttons. So… confused.

When is a camera coming out with I phone tech meaning it would read the entire view instead of what the focus is on, I had this beautiful wedding at a winery if I focused on the couple the sky and background were blown out, if I focused on the background the couple were to dark. took out my i phone and instantly it was a perfect shot, they need to put this tech into cameras.

This is so sad because we know LV canvas gets thinner over time but Goyard’s canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to own a coated canvas kislux bag is that it is lightweight and indestructible

There are now a significant number of competitors to Adobe LrPs products that you can either subscribe to or buy outright. They also have plugins to allow integration to help with swapping editing software. Adobe work on the basis that people feel 'locked in' to their software so exploit it. R6mkiii won't have it but a 30MP sensor like the original Eos R had would be ideal but stacked.

Would like to see a wireless device that plugs into a new or old dslr/ mirrorless camera with video capabilities, that shows what's in the cameras viewfinder/ lcd for webstreaming or video editing on the computer. Is that what the 1st device does ? That would be game changing. Maybe connects via the cameras hdmi

I think most full time pros shooting Sony will likely have one of each. They compliment each other.

This 800mm prime lens by it self on the R5 and R7 takes tac-sharp photographs of wildlife and people! Stationary animals and moving animals in daylight. Even over-cast or cloudy conditions. It is more sharp than new RF 200-800mm. Because it is a prime lens the quality of the glass is the exact same a L products. There is no weather seals. However, I use mine in a very hot and humid climate only and it performs well. At first it might be challenging to track moving objects, but like everything else, skill is developed in time. And the Zoom ring, even when set to zoom, is really clunky. It was Cannon‘s goal to put out a cheap lens and they did it. Yes it has an ultra silent focusing motor that is not available in the 800 mm prime. But it doesn’t mean that it focuses better or sharper than the 800 mm standalone. Im over joyed with my Canon RF 800mm f11 STM!

I would like to see an R6 mark 3 with an open RF mount so i can fit lots of beautiful sigma glass to it when I buy one, instead of being forced to buy a slow shooting A7 IV with like 5fps, just so i can get the glass I want.

Do you have to hold bbf for it to acquire new focus or does it do this automatically? Asking if you still have to keep holding bbf down or can you acquire once and it holds until you change subject.

Oh, the pop up flash! 🤬🤯 We had a guy in a wildlife hide, his flash kept popping up and he kept slamming it down, rinse and repeat! I told him that if he selected P instead of green box the flash would not keep popping up but he could still deploy it with the button. He said he wasn’t bothered, a couple of others then told him that they were bothered by him keep scaring off the animals and he could take the advice or leave the hide!

Just give me a Nikon Z5 mark II and I'll be happy. I like to push my cameras as well as push myself. That said, if i had unlimited money i would definitely be shooting some brand new models and flagships lol i cant lie about that. If i could i would. But for now, pro glass on 5+ year old(some 10 years old) cameras still produce beautiful images with beautiful glass. The technology has mostly capped out as it is. Now its all about features that make a camera looked at.
