I have the iPad Pro 10.5 from 2017. Feels pretty outdated but it’s still a beast. I realized updating my iPad’s OS and getting new accessories makes it feel a little bit modern. I use it for video editing and making comics on procreate. The iPad is truly a revolutionary device. Love your videos by the way 🙂

Im using my ipad pro for school (Homework and vocab aswell as learning for tests), drawing and scetching, playing Games, using its help for workouts, remind myself for everything necessary throughout the week, Reading Comics, watching disney+ and yt --- in total I use it for nearly everything and it replaced a Laptop or a Computer completely for me.👍✍️

I just bought a refurbished 2018 iPad Pro and am using it as a laptop replacement, and I love it! I'm an animator/3D modeler, so I still need a pc rig for my work, but for texture creation, illustration, and note-taking, this little guy does everything I need incredibly well! Great video - I love seeing how others use their tech because it gives me ideas on how I can better integrate what I already have into my workflow!

I got back into the Apple iOS side back when the 11 dropped. I got back into photography and video editing, so I immediately put LR and Lumafusion on my phone. I was really impressed how my "regular" 11 was handling LR. After 3 month of grinding it out on that small screen, I was able to cop the 12.9 2018 model, and it's been life changing. My productivity has increased tremendously and I don't even understand how I was doing on the iPhone. My only regret was getting a 64 GB model; I run out of space, due to shooting 4k really fast. It's a great investment.

I use my current 2016 9.7-inch Pro as a 2nd wireless display with my laptop so I can have one thing on each device. I use it for entertainment and productivity. I’m looking to upgrade it to the 2020 iPad Pro 11-inch with 256 GB since my current one only has 32 GB when I got it from my college. When I had the 1st gen Apple Pencil I would use it to design my car sketches, specifically headlight, taillight, and grill designs. I use it for school work and for casual browsing on the internet as well

Pleasantly surprised to find out that the video (and assuming yourself as well) are Canadian made! So proud! Great quality content. Thank you. I have been toying with the idea of picking up an iPad Pro 11 inch (2020), as well as the pencil, and the magic keyboard (when released). I’d like to use it as my primary (and only) computer/laptop. However, I’m still unable to justify confidently that the investment would be put to good use. I like the creative aspect of the iPad and how it may encourage me to do more in that realm (including its portability and productivity), but I work a 9-5 office job (primarily meetings and writing briefs), have young kids at home (hence less time to use device), and i’m also constantly asking myself if I can use that money for something else I.e. for the family. Oh well, the thinking continues ... but thanks again making great videos. Stay safe and hang in there! :)

I recently tried using an iPad as my daily device for personal use. The most recent iPad I owned was the iPad Air 2020 edition. I paired it with the Logitech folio keyboard with trackpad. I thought about the Magic Keyboard but could not justify the price even though it offers the best typing experience for the iPad. I use to own the iPad because it was the best productivity device that was fanless, until the M1 MBA. When comparing the iPad Air with a keyboard, the price owning the total setup was within $100 of the 2020 M1 MBA due to going with the 256GB variant. Once I had realized that I immediately took it back and purchased the M1 MBA. Since owning the MBA M1. It has been both my iPad and Desktop. The device has the keyboard I like, a better trackpad, and a bigger screen than what is available for the iPad. The MBA for me has been more useful since I never really used the Apple Pencil, and I was always trying to turn the iPad into a Laptop anyway. Will the MBA M1 there have been no need for workarounds. For me, the MBA M1 has provided a better value. For me, an iPad does not replace a laptop. A laptop still has a better web browsing experience, better screen extension capabilities, polished file system. Don't get me wrong, I think iPads are great, they just aren't for everyone.
