This video is at least 3+ years in the making.... and that's only because I forgot about it for several years. Originally, I had drawn this up as a test of the Canson Marker Paper while it was fresh in my mind. But by the time I would have gotten around to it, I had to pack up all my art stuff and move.
I only uncovered this piece because I had dug through all my art and sketchbooks to take photos for my Instagram!
However, this paper does have lasting power, as this piece was about 4 years old before I finished it.... finally.

A little bit too thin for a marker paper... :( I like regular printer paper for "color laser printers". It is the most expensive printer paper, but still extremely cheap compared to marker papers. I can prefer the Mondi Copy Color, Clairfontaine DCP and for people in America: Hammermill Premium color Copy. There are several weights available, from 90g to 400g. These printer papers are extremely smooth, perfect for markers and hand lettering.

It is labeled as "Marker Paper", but I do prefer my marker paper to be thick. I'll have to take a look at the printer/paper section next time I'm out. I've always kept cardstock on hand, but you've got me curious.
