Get a cable and pad lock for your Watch Dog 50Amp. At $300,00 I ran a cable through the hole on the metal bracket that is attached to the Watch Dog, and locked it up around the Ele box. I been to great RV and okay RV resorts. Don't want to come out and see it gone. DRS

@@danseibert7562 yes we typically do lock up the watchdog, what lock are you using for it? Right now we are just using a bicycle lock, a lock only just slows down a thief, but it is good to at least try.

I wonder if the security kick is for people who don't pay.. like those who stay at a walmart parking lot. if the front desk said come pay then you should be fine

@@eagle4life69 the guard told me they aren’t allowing anyone to stay at all. He said it was do to the new Vp guy or whoever came onto running things recently. He said he personally thinks they’re making a mistake by not allowing anyone to camp anymore. Also stated rving, camping was a bad look for the property… no telling.

Go try Lindey’s in Arden Hills. They have these hash brown potatoes and I was told the owner takes the trash offsite so people can’t dig thru and figure out what ingredients they use in them. Safe travels

Does your tilt trailer have some gas struts? I wish I had that on mine. I have an ATV tilt trailer and when I load that thing it slams down & every time I think one day I'm going to go right over the front.

It has a closed hydraulic loop system, that’s a bummer about your trailer though. I think you can add a strut or something like that though.

you guys are well of enough to afford a cybertruck and a tag-axle motorhome. why not spring for aa built-in surge suppressor and a power feed/retraction reel so you wouldn't have to struggle with that heavy power cord ?

We are a full time rv family too & we just found your Channel. We just did driveway camping outside of Minneapolis at a friend's summer condo for the 1st time in almost 4 years we have been traveling. We celebrated our 8 yr olds birthday with our friends at Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America! Make sure you go on Tuesday for $40 deal & $15 toddler deal. You have my dream setup! I don't really like Class A because the floor plans are not too family friendly & dangerous in a crash. However, you guys have the best looking Class A on the road!!! Good information in this video too! Our watchdogs has a slightly melted prong!

Just a suggestion. California passed some type of law that may restrict Diesel powered motor homes after January 1 2025. I know this sounds crazy but maybe check in on this. Great video take care and be careful.

Things to do in Minneapolis, get hit by persons with no license and insurance, get shot, get ticket for driving in wrong lane at wrong time of day, take 8 detours cause of construction never ends… lol head south to Blue Earth MN visit the big green giant. There is also couple county campgrounds one just outside Wells MN and another just outside Mapleton MN. Come little further South to the better State Iowa we got lots of nice campgrounds. If your back in Wisconsin hit the Jellystone in warrens WI and if ya stay reserve the golf cart when ya book. Your front straps on the trailer should be hooked forward of the tire rear straps should be hooked rear of tire. You’re asking to be be zapped, don’t plug that in after flipping power on. Point of the watch dog is to stop any surges it has that delay built in, just plug it all in and flip the switch if there is problem it will not allow power to unit.

Minneapolis sounds a bit like Chicago from your experience 😳 Hoping we don’t encounter that. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼. We love the Quad Cities when we visit Iowa! Jellystone’s are so much fun to visit! We will add that one to our list! We have had our onboard surge protector and watchdog fail on us so we have some trust issues with electrical posts at sites.

Yeah it’s not for everyone. Wasn’t our first choice ether but… the drivability it provides is unmatched and fun. It’s not a forever truck though. Just a for now toy.

I think most of the hate about the truck is from folks who have never driven it. Besides having all the capabilities of any 4X4 truck, it’s the most fun car to drive that I’ve ever owned. I get the look my turn some people off, but for me that’s part of the appeal.

Drove over the George Washington bridge in New York City pulling our camper with no cost listed. Got home from Maine and noticed our EZpass was in the red. $98.00 to drive over one way. 3 days later EZpass was in the red again with another $98.00 charge. I will never go over that bridge again!

Definitely making a mistake. Casinos with RV parking are huge money makers. i know quite a few retired couples that bomb around the country in their class A and prefer to setup at casinos, do some gambling, they usually have great restaurants. Definitely damaging the retired customer base.

But they definitely lost more money by not allowing rvers to stay. Because you’re so right… it totally is damaging the retired customer base if they don’t give them a place to enjoy.

@@WePlusThreee If you are ever in Durango, CO definitely stay at the sky ute casino. They have a great setup. I stay their every year when I am in southern Colorado. Pool for the kids, wifi in the sites, laundry. Really nice restaurant too.

Many stops are designed with plenty of space to accommodate both professional drivers and travelers alike, so long as each person is respectful and aware. If the trucking industry believes it needs more dedicated spots, that’s an issue to address with transportation authorities,not with individual travelers who also have the right to rest and refuel.

Get over it. I pull into a rest area where it says RV and trucks pulling trailers, and it's backed up with semis. I buy my fuel at truck stops, if I need to park my diesel pusher there because of no other options, I will. I always prefer a campground pull through if I can find one.

Actually, you’re right that private businesses can set their own rules and ask people to leave as long as it’s not discriminatory. It’s their right to enforce policies as they see fit. But clear communication always helps so everyone knows what’s expected and can avoid misunderstandings. If asked to leave, the best thing to do is to respect their decision and take business elsewhere. But that is not the case for an automotive rest stop. No where does it say for semi trucks only. I pay taxes and road fees just like everyone else. Don’t be small minded. Research before your fingers get to typing……🫳🏼🎤
