It was nice to see some floor plans without the long hallway to the living area. Most of the floor plans I have noticed in the Phoenix area are on small narrow lots with floor plans with the long hallway. Do 55+ communities allow for visiting children and grandchildren?

They do all allow for them to visit. The length of the visit can be limited especially for kids under 18. It can't be for months at a time. And certain 55+ communities don't allow kids in any of their amenities, but most have hours and/or pools that they can visit. CantaMia does allow kids in their outdoor pool area
