My parents are from Guangzhou and I was born and raised in England, I can listen to Cantonese quite well, speak a tiny bit and can't read at all. The struggle is real some of you abcs, cbcs and bbcs (British Born Asians) know.

I can understand it when it's spoken to me, but I can't speak or read. :// Canto people have amazing food and the language is so full of slang that's always changing; I'm always so proud when I watch the Fung Bros because they get to rep being Asian, Hong Kong/Canton descent, and Chinese in general. I can speak like Chinese/Cantonese with 2 different dialect and my parents made me attend Chinese school when I was younger, but when junior year in high school came around I quit. I was too busy for it anymore. So I can read and write up to certain point. But that's it, other than that I'm also a ABC
