I'm Cantonese native, I understand characters but I don't understand how to pronoun the Cantonese words with those English letters... Can you make a video of beginner pronunciation with the English letters?

Hi Brittany! Sure, I'll try my best to get one done just as soon as possible. In the meantime, a simplified, two-part explanation of this Yale-in-China system is: The letter H 1) Words without "h" = middle and higher tones 2) Words with "h" = lower tones Accent Marks 1) No "h" and yes accent marks = high tones (high, high falling, high rising) 2) No "h" and no accent marks = middle tone 3) Yes "h" and yes accent marks = low tones (low falling, low rising) 4) Yes "h" and no accent marks = low tone Do you use a different romanisation system? I know a little about the jyutping system of numbers, but I prefer Yale-In-China, I guess since it's more visual than the numbers. :)

Thank you so much! In our region, we speak Cantonese as our mother tongue, so we don't know exactly the Cantonese pronunciation system. However, we learned Mandarin when we went to school at a very young age and the only romanization system we learned is PinYin. It is a little bit difficult for me to read the yela or jyutping system... But i can guess the words from the English you wrote on the white board.
