Hey there. It’s a 2021 model (I think) and yes, I followed their sizing. I used to ride a 54 and this Canyon is a Small frame. Works well for me. Good luck with your purchase!

54 should be a M not S or do we talking about the same size ? xD

Hey Alex! Thanks for the honest review. Have you used fenders? I'm debating buying a Canyon Endurance, but I'd like to know a few things, one if it possible to use fenders, here in DC it gets rainy!

Hey Adam - fortunately, I rarely ride in the wet conditions here in Northern Cal, so I haven't really dug into this question. With that said, there are no fender mounts on my bike, so I think the only option would be one of those rear fenders that mounts to the bottom of the seat. I'm not quote sure what the front setup would be, but I'd imagine someone sells something online that retrofits to bikes without fenders. Hope that helps!

What's your gps mount on the aero cockpit? Thanks!

Hi Alex, awesome bike! I’m going to buy it too! What is your height and what frame size did you take? I’m 5 feet 9 or 175 cm tall. For canyons charts I’m still fitting a size S but I’m afraid I could be a little bit small. Size M starts at 177 cm so it could also fit for me. Is a bigger frame better or a smaller one but more agile? Thx

Well, this works out nicely. I'm 5'9" and had the exact same debate. I went with Canyon's rec of a size S and have never looked back. You can always order the S and if it's not right for you, send it back and get a M, but I'd bet you'll be happy on a S. Keep me posted...and enjoy the new ride! As you can tell, I love mine!

@@alexkatz44 Thx for your response and advice! I'm definitely going with size S then! I didn't know that I can send it back in case it doesn't fit! I'll buy one this summer when it will be available again. Looking forward!

Bought a 2023 version Endurace CF SLX - your handlebar "cockpit" looks much higher (almost level with your saddle height) than my set up. Was that a aftermarket mod or did it come from factory like that? (i.e., I wouldn't mind if my handlebar got raised another 20 -30 mm)

Great question - no, the headset spacers on my bike came stock from Canyon. I actually played around with a few different spacer setups (all lower than my current height) before just accepting the fact that I'd prefer a bit more comfort than maxing out the aero possibilities of the bike. If yours didn't come with headset spacers, I'd suggest you reach out to Canyon and inquire, although I just looked at the Canyon site and the new cockpit setup (all internal cables) looks to have a different spacer setup than mine. Point being...I'd see what Canyon has to say about it.

Canyon did adjust the reach and stack of the bike, but I don’t remember if it was 22 or 23. My 2018 it’s almost like the 2018 Ultimate.

Hi Alex, thanks for the video. I’m considering this same bike. I’m thinking of putting a 10-36 Force cassette to give me a bit wider gearing. What do you think?
@alexkatz44 Жыл бұрын
Hey Farhad. Sorry for the slow reply. I'm pretty happy with the gearing as it is, but I can't imagine a 10-36 would but problematic in any way. Depends a lot on the type of riding you have planned for this bike. Keep me posted on how it works out if you end up going for it!

what model year is this? did you go by the size recommended on their website?

I have the 2023 version and it looks like your stack is higher than mine?
@alexkatz446 ай бұрын
Yeah, the bike came with a bunch of spacers and I just left them all in, in part because if you remove some of them, the cap on top of the handlebars doesn't line up flat. At least I think. Anyway, it's not the most aggressive set-up, but it works for me. Hope you're happy with your 2023!
