Congratulations Laura to you and the Team, I’ve enjoyed watching your journey for a few years now which included a brief conversation in Lahti as I was about to rack my bike for the Men’s race. You were with Phillip and hadn’t had the best race yet were gracious enough to chat, thank you. Your inspiration, along with the likes of Lionel and Daniela, have hugely helped motivate me on my own triathlon journey and in August, at the tender age of 57, I completed my first Ironman in Tallinn gaining a slot for Nice next year. I’d like to thank you for showing me how to ride the brutal course while I watched you race from my home here in Scotland on Sunday, you were incredible. Some may say that Lucy and Anne were unable to compete, all I would say is I honestly don’t think anyone could have matched you on Sunday, your focus and determination along with a desire to win greater than any athlete out there resulted in a phenomenal performance across all three disciplines. You are such a worthy World Champion, I’m so happy for you, Phillip and the Team! 🙏🥳

Hmmm... those type of chain rings were reported to not hold wax very well. Es wurde berichtet, dass diese Ketten das Wachs nicht besonders gut hielten.

That's exactly the reason why I don't like tri sports anymore. The one with the most money wins. The best aquasuit, the springiest shoes, the aerodynamiest bike. Graphite deflectors on the head for better heat dissipation. Just crazy. I like the simplicity of Keirin racing.
