My dad and I whitewater rafted through Canyonlands over 20 years ago. What an amazing experience!

Canyonlands is amazing. But the place I found the most interesting on my trip to the South-West was Chaco Canyon - well worth a visit if you haven't been there yet.

Santa Claus ?? Not likely. The person that stood for this invention came from Turkey, though his bday is celebrated throughout Europe on either december 5th or 6th (different countries slightly different myths about this figure.) Commonly know as Saint Nicolas, who was a priest or bishop around 900 AD, in what is now Demre, but wat was called Myra. Actually saw the "church" were his coffin was, before it was looted and brought to Spain. (Where many folk believe he came from.) I got many a picture of that building. [It was en route, when hiking the Lycian Way]
