This is a wonderful LED switch module which uses touch and also works as a dimmer!
It has four modes (but the settings will disappear once you power off)
1. 3-stage brightness level
2. Fade up to set brightness & fade down from set brightness
3. Fade up to maximum brightness and fade down to zero
4. Normal On/Off
The best part is that it uses 2.5volts to 4.5volts and can output up 500mA! And looking at the PCB, the notes said you can add a capacitor for various surface thickness and material. Plus, you can even solder your own 2cm x 3cm touch plate too.

Is this pressure sensitive? If so, does this module increase brightness with more pressure and dim with less to none? Thank you in advance!

I doubt the capacitance sensor is able to detect and act upon changes to the capacitive plate.

I saw these on ebay... it says upon power up of the module the LED state is off. Is this true? Is there a way to make it go to whatever the last state was before power loss? My application would require this.
@MrEngineer
@MrEngineer 8 жыл бұрын
+SMARA Unfortunately, the module does not 'remember' its last state during power off. You might need to make your own system

I bought it but came with a second led on board which is parallel to LED+- connections. so when I connect a LED it does not work since not enough power. if you get like this from ebay, you need to desolder onboard secondary LED (you have soldering dots visible on left side in this video)

HI, If you look at the following link, one of the pictures shows you how to connect the cree LED and if that does not work, you might want look into using the module to control a FET transistor to drive the LED although the original link I bought from says it has a maximum output of 500mA.
