Hi Don. great to hear from you. I was worried that maybe you and yours were in that storm. We got hit pretty hard here also. NC got hit way harder. The low lands here looked a lot like NC. We lost people ,home's,roads,Etc up here in the Mountains.I have never seen or heard of anything like this in my lifetime.Thank you for the How too. As always I liked and shared. All my very best.

Thanks Bobby. We were blessed here being east of flooding. Just some high winds and rain. We’re praying for everyone in the NC mountains and others in the surrounding states that were affected by Helene and Milton. Take care my friend. All the best. Don

Yes! This circuit works with newer led bulbs as well. I also had good luck with a white led on the receive end. Take care!

Were all three transistors 2N3904?
@RestoreOldRadios2 ай бұрын
Hi William - it worked for me using 2N3904 transistors as well as the BC547C. Hope this helps. All the best. Don

I was just thinking how I haven't heard from you in a while. Great video and project. I should be noted the most newer florescent light ballasts, even some older mercury florescent bulbs use switching supplies with over 75 Khz comming from them. Great RFI noise makers. I wonder if this will work with them? Thanks for this circuit and video. Take care Don.

Ryan, I’ve been away for a while due to a family situation. Great question on the newer lights and noise… If you get an opportunity to replicate my efforts, I would appreciate your feedback. All the best. Don

@@RestoreOldRadios Would probably be a better source of noise. Thanks for the circuit. I have to give it a go. Take care!
