For those who want to do the last question mathematically, just take the total distance excluding the thickness of the dielectric and multiply it by E to get the total potential for the region excluding the dielectric and then divide that potential by 2 to get the potential for the left and right most regions separately,add them up it makes up the same thing ( I know you could have just assumed that distance to be d-t in the first place, but it's more mathematically)

Hi! Really enjoy you videos and excitement in your voice. Just a question: Between the dielectric and negative plate, is there no field enhancement caused by the positive charges at the bottom of the dielectric and the negative plate? That is, both the plates field and the polarisation field of the dielectric are additive in that region making that field not equal to Eo.

Hi! I just wanted to ask, how would the situation change if the dielectric was instead partially filling the capacitor from the side? Like instead of it having the same surface area, it now has t = d but it is inserted only halfway or so. Do you have a video on that or something to help me get on the way? Thanks? :-)
