Cape Cobra for breakfast.

Two Secretary Birds on the hunt in the Kgalagadi encounters a Cape Cobra on an open space. The bird stuns the snake with a few powerful kicks, and then gulps it down while it is apparently still alive. Watch till the end to see how the snake disappears down the birds throat.

Don't they still get venom by eating it? The venom is still in the snake

Thank you for your comment. Research indicates that some birds have specialized enzymes in their digestive systems that neutralize the toxins. The same also applies to Honey Badgers.
