Okay so townships has not been that long around in Cape Town unlike the cape flats where our homes were taken from us and we were all dumped in the ghettos, I wonder why there is no coloured people in this cape video.

What did the colors build after 94? Land was given back the colords Why was nothing developed? I live in Cape town. Every one knows the history of apartheid. But like ww2 it's gone, in the past. Land is now yours, still nothing

@@conradduplooy6570 lol Mr. Boer, keep quiet its because national government is the problem. And you probably from the western cape yes not the city of Cape Town, if you were you would not be so foolish. This is my home and I'm proudly Khoi, so if I may ask are you a Afrikaaner?
@makteko2 жыл бұрын
Yes true, this is probably a post Apartheid township, but it all depends on how you define Cape Flats vs Townships. Maybe its based on racial lines with Cape Flats meaning coloured settlement while township means black settlement. Langa is older than most Cape Flats and then we have Nyanga and Gugulethu that we built around the same time as Lavender Hills, Heideveld, etc. So basically townships have been around since the 1920s but I can agree with you that there has been a large influx of migrants from the Eastern that created new places around the Cape. I fully agree with you, It is really sad that Cape Coloureds are being ignored while the Government has priorities new comers in the Cape.

@@nadineblake6354 The problem is not too many people but rather the lack of development by the Government. Our population is slightly smaller than the UK and we have 5 times the land mass, most of our problems will be solved by good leadership. Right now we have an incompetent Government who is not dealing with the high unemployment rate or the development of the country.

@@makteko should unemployed people have kids? Should people living with starvation ie, Ethiopia have kids and watch them die? Should teenagers below 16 be having babies?! Should men sleep around and have as many kids as they like, leaving the women to cope with no income and a bunch of illegitimate kids she can't feed let alone put through school?? Surely people should wake up and take responsibility for their actions and not blame the government or compare their situation to other people who have fewer children and a better lifestyle??
