Awesome channel guys. I watch a lot from a different channel (won't advertise them on yours). They've been to the Cape numerous times and blah blah blah. Your trip was really refreshing covering very different aspects. At 62 with pretty bad arthritis in my lower back I doubt me and the 'Zook' will ever make the trip from Central Vic. but so enjoyed watching you guys with such an honest 'no holes barred' approach. I know you've replaced Percy but river crossings are absolute Alternator killers and as you found it's a vital cog in a rig. Strongly suggest grabbing a newy, fitting it where you have access to tools and machinery so you know it fits and works then wrap the original in something waterproof and carry it as a spare. Thanks again for some great entertainment.

Often the blue colour in water is copper sulphate and is used in a lot of old salt water pools like chlorine to keep the water clean. It’s almost the colour of the patina you see appear on the surface of copper in the weather.
