Straddie is the best place to go camping. You should have stayed up towards Amity Point it's much quieter away from the amenities. As always you make great content.

Even tho you let your tyres down, they were still too high. There was not even a bulge in the side wall. For soft sand like that you could easily go down to 10psi or even 8 in extreme cases and you would fly through it

Man I love your videos. Enjoy watching someone who can actually drive and you guys use your car and van the way they should be. Can’t wait for our new van to arrive so we can get amongst it too. Looking forward to your adventure in 2024.

Hi crew i watched a video on KZbin about using the Victron energy orion 12to 24v 20dc dc converter non isolated hi power,to charge off the car to charge the portable power station, it was pulling around 400 W a lot better than the cigarette plug, would be great for the itech 2000W station, unless itech sales something the same,

How do you register your van in vic?

Seems strange to air down tires on the trailer, tow rig yes wouldn't that make trailer harder to pull
@SarahandKeelanTravels10 ай бұрын
no as it lengthens the trailer overall surface area footprint meaning it floats on top of the sand instead of cutting through it like a pizza cutter...

Urban must cringe seeing what you guys do to that van on the wrong tracks no going back and rockin and rolling getting off them beaches looking like ya going to roll over 😳 , and never pay the ferry man until he gets you to the other side 😬🙏 ok the side off car has a clear wrap to protect paint can ya get a clear wrap for the windows off the van so the plastic windows won't scratch 🤔 living like Kings I watch their vids too yer their 4x4 big ford ute stuffed up they were only in 2wd was a nightmare 4 them that day
@JWBrewer7311 ай бұрын
Aren’t you only supposed to air down the powered tires? Seems that airing down the caravan would increase the drag, while not really producing a beneficial result. But what do I know, I’m a 73 year old armchair geezer.
@SarahandKeelanTravels11 ай бұрын
Narh mate, hard tyres dig in more on soft sand, lower pressure increases surface area and increases the floating on top and not cutting straight in.
@johnadams015411 ай бұрын
Same principle as a camel in the desert. Huge wide feet to spread the load across a greater surface area.
