I enjoyed your video and trip but I was confused about how it took you 10 days to drive Cairns to the top , that's 100 kilometers per day , you could do it in 3 or 4 days dude
@PaulWheelDriveAustralia7 ай бұрын
Hi Craig, This video is one of my earliest videos and I have changed them since then. I watched the video back again and if I said it took that many days, it would have included staying at some camps two days or more. My intention was always to take my time, camp and enjoy the area and then move on. Trust this explanation helps. Plenty of travellers passed me on the road.

$1.66 to $2.05 Aw man for fuel to be that cheap again In wa I did a Broome drive last year and diesel was 2.65 at the highest and roughly 2.35-45 everywhere else Really made me rethink my diesel obsession

That yoga Matt is useless. Why don't you have a rooftop tent on your vehicle 😮
@PaulWheelDriveAustralia2 ай бұрын
Rooftop tents are heavy and I only needed it for a short time 😉

Hi paul great vid,, were do you think the worse corrugations are this year on the PDR ?? thanks
@PaulWheelDriveAustralia3 жыл бұрын
hey there Horto, Worse corrugations for me, were just after Coen for about 15kms and immediately after Jardine ferry crossing for about 7 kms. They do change a lot as the random team turn up and grade the track

What do I need a solar panel for ?

@@PaulWheelDriveAustralia I have an alternator for that. I'm still waiting for someone to give me a compelling reason to buy a solar panel for my global overland travels.

I worked welding bull bars for a well know company, their quality is questionable lol

Nice to know, glad I didn't need a new bull bar from there. 🤨
