Taking our Caravan to Cape York via The Bloomfield Track [EP6]

In this week's episode, we embark on our biggest journey yet to the Northernmost point on the Australian Mainland, Cape York. We take our caravan down the notorious Bloomfield Track and have a counter lunch at the famous Lions Den Hotel. In this video we also visit Archer point, Cooktown, Lakefield National Park and Coen.
Our trip then takes an unexpected turn when we run into an incredible group of people on the same path and we tag along to experience the best 2 weeks of our lives.

Yep, it sure is sticky. Even worse when it rains, it gets EVERYWHERE. I had just gotten the van back to a good level of cleanliness 12 mths after the cape... then we hit the GRR 😅🤣

Thanks for sharing another great video. What is the normal temp for your coolant and EGT, 90 deg. C does not seem that high for the coolant temp? We really loved Cooktown, what a great place. It's the cape next for us, though I will leave the van at Laura maybe. I'm liking your rig and XC3 more every day.

No worries! Thanks for following along :) 90c was the highest I had seen at that moment. It has reached 90c towing on rough roads up hills on 35c days up the cape so I now realise it was nothing to worry about. We saw plenty of vans stored at Laura, probably a good option. The roads are pretty rough on the gear. Thanks again Robert
