Thank you for bringing the empowering and positive message Dr. Fraad, it is very hard to be in a world where all you see is the negativity (war) and it's distractions (advertisements). Getting a reminder that there is hope and that there is a metaphorical light at the end of the tunnel helps me feel a bit better.

There's a lot of good things happening that get overlooked especially among liberals who focus on problems so they can fix them. And negative news gets more views. I never watch Democracy Now! anymore because it depressed me and made me feel helpless.

I have recently been feeling that whatever actions the progressives made, the resultant energy was lost in the ether of Donald Trump and all the loud irreverant people who listen only to his lies. She mentioned on the inhumanity of solitary confinement. Ironic considering that solitary confinement is extremely common in the prisons of today's socialist countries. She mentioned child abandonment. That's also far more common in socialism than in capitalism. Basically all the stuff she complains about in capitalism, is way more common in socialism.
