slight correction !! If Capitano took off his mask, we wouldnt be met by a skeleton. The "rot'' Capitano refers to is the same as Dainsleifs arm and mask. I've seen comparisons and he's indeed taller than our tall playable men. He is a tiny bit taller, but it's not something insane that would prevent him from being playable. He has 2 models: 1 with a suspiciously detailed coat (LOOK AT THE BACK OF IT.) and one without. Imagine taking the time to create such a detailed coat only to not use it for a playable form - This doesn't make sense to me!! My suspicion is that he'll take it off for battle like Xilonen, it'll probably make the rigging of his animations easier as well... Dataminers have looked into his case but I ain't mentioning any of that here 'cause I don't want to potentially cross anyone's boundaries. o7 Plan your pulls carefully, chat. Arlecchino also got her first sticker almost a year ago in between 4.2-4.3. And people were still spamming that Sandrone will be playable instead, lmao. Now we have Capitano and people still want Columbina to be playable when there is literally zero indications of her appearing in the AQ. Whatever the fuck is this teen girl model bias; I don't get it. Also: Khaenriah are pretty much able to possess elemental powers without a vision. They are just built different. Literally. Arlecchino had her special flames long before she got her vision. Dainsleif doesn't have one, and still uses some new element that we don't even know about, and he is long ago confirmed to be playable. So it won't be a problem for mihoyo to introduce another character that uses elemental powers without wielding a vision. Especially since he has ties with Ronova herself, there should be no problem for him to be able to do that. And yes that's NOT a Nightsoul. In order to have a Nightsoul you need to have an ancient name. And Capitano doesn't have one because Mavuika said the Traveler is the first outlander to get an ancient name. + Nobody mentioned it. And Natlanians are extremely good at recognizing their own techniques. It's also not Delusion; First, because his model doesn't have one. Second, because his Cryo is just the same as Arlecchinos Pyro, and her Pyro is NOT a Delusion. Adding to rotting part; he is not a corpse. It's the same "rot" Dain and Pierro are affected by; the black-blue parts of their face that are kinda "corrupted". It's not that scary as you all make it out to be. My theory is since he is shown in his first design in the sticker, they will keep it like with Arlecchino, but they will make his face a tease, like with Kuki when she shows her face too, so it will in fact even save them some time and money from animating his face expressions fully. Capitano can have something like reverse Xiao in his ultimate: the corrupted Khaenriah Cryo engulfing him further and destroying his mask, maybe even ripping some of his clothes off for fanservice of course (AKA Calcharo from WuWa) And last but not least; Capitano will not come in Snezhnaya, nor will he come in Khaenriah. In Snezhnaya they will have to sell the Tsaritsa and other Harbingers. If they will try to sell Capitano again he will straight up overshadow everyone since he quite literally is the First. And they won't be able sell him in Khaenriah since it's pretty clear Khaenriah will be for Dainsleif and Pierro. Capitano is at his peak popularity right NOW, and mihoyo will use this chance regardless..

I'm no expert by any means but unlike alhaitham and wriothesley, Capitano model is a full blown modification of the currently tall model we have, not just the arm or anything. And I'll assume you don't look at leaks, but if you do there's actually a comparison between him and wriothesley. The model is really similar but you can say that Capitano is taller and more "buff" and I mean by a lot, I guess you can say? Or you can search for his T pose model and see the difference. Again you might be right and they can just use the regular program to make him playable. but seeing the differences in the model might require a new type of program for him. BUT either way he will be playable -Agenda always win.

Removing the mask and lowering the height just removes the reason why most people will pull in the first place. And also, his body type is already characterized as tall male like kaeya, Zhongli etc. His model being wider and taller doesn't mean that's a new body type. When they say that stickers indicate playability, they mean that unique characters with stickers (like Mavuika, Alhaitham, and Tighnari) have a high chance of becoming playable. Unplayable characters, like Signora, don't receive these stickers. The only exception is Dainsleif, who is already confirmed to be playable based on the Travail teaser. Gouba is part of Xiangling, much like Paimon is part of the MC. Creatures like Azhdaha and Oceanids fall under the "Monster" sticker category. There are also event stickers for memorable event characters. Capitano falls under the "Unique Model" sticker. He isn’t a monster, even if he becomes a boss, and he is certainly not an event character.

My theories for him being playable is that he has way too much screentime, even more-so than Signora at this point. He is vital to the Natlan lore now. He is also morally good, they made Scara a good guy to make him playable, I think they can make an already good guy playable. There are more leaks about him being playable than columbina. We got to see him use nightsoul (I think, because he had the glowy ice aura around him) while fighting Mavuika. Model/Hidden-Face isn't a problem I think because most of his fans find his mask appearance appealing already and having a taller than usual body type isn't a problem considering the game is Single-player. And Lastly, I think he is playable because I hope he is. Too cool to not be made playable.

All sounds good. I would add a little bit to the video with my opinion about Capitano`s body: Pay attention not to ZZZ, but to HSR. There are 2 types of adult male bodies in this game - 1)As it is now in Genshin Impact; 2) As in older (pumped up) men (like Gallagher). If you take these two body types in HSR right now and compare them, you will see exactly the same height difference as Capitano's with the rest of the male characters. There are no problems. It may well be presented as EITHER a new body type, or a slightly higher model, and that's it). Take it easy guys, we just need to wait. In turn, the sticker is a small, but extremely cool signal from the developers to us that at least they did not forget about this character. We are waiting for Papitano at home 🙂

I think he will keep the helmet regardless of having his body restored back to health. It's the main element of his design, it's what makes him, well him. And if you think about it, guy spent 500 years wearing that, he might as well be used to it now, even if he could take it off. A slightly different skin such as censored Amber/Mona/Rosaria/Jean, one with the helmet on and off, would also work to appease both sides. I'm not sure about the outfit tho. Do you think he's gonna be playable with the coat on or off?

The thing most people are ignoring in my opinion is the Ignition teaser. Just like Fontaine's Overture teaser these two are *NOT* story trailers they are character marketing trailers. Meaning that most likely all characters that appear in these trailers are playable. This held true for Fontaine'e Overture teaser and I'm pretty sure it will hold aswell for Natlan's Ignition teaser.

Arlecchino would have her bloodfire even without her Vision or Delusion, and Capitano's ice also has the Abyssal influence regarding visuals. So overall, they can easily make up an explanation regarding his powers, which would also give us more info on Khaenri'ah in general

Arlecchino too posseses a unique and exclusive body type. IF you look closely, due to her High-heels she is way shorter than Yelan or Raiden, and her head is also smaller. I could also mention Emelie because at first I thought she has medium female height but after closer look she has also a tall female type BUT she is also shorter than usual ones. Thus confirms that Hoyo already did move into specific body direction. ALSO Capitano's character Model is close by height to the HSR tall male character models, since there we got 3 male models(medium male, taller male and tallest male, same applies to female + child model)

As for the rotten body, well Natlan is somehow related to rebirth and symbol phoenix and fire, so technically in my opinion Hoyo can make a quest that will somehow regenerate his body, ofc the curse will still be on him but his body will no longer be rotten, as for the vision, just give one as in the case of the wanderer lol

Notice how playable characters never have dedicated dialogues for NPCs, but they have for fellow playable units. So, Capitano will be playable because Tartaglia, Arlecchino and Wanderer have dedicated dialogues for him in their voice profiles. Playable characters’ voice profiles have dialogues about other playable characters (or would-be playable characters). If so, Signora could become playable too because Tartaglia, Arlecchino & Wanderer have dialogues about her in their voice profiles.

An even "sure" fact is that, no playable character is opposed or against the traveler canonically. The Fate System (or banner) has a canon lore that says characters joins the traveler once they are in good terms with them, and if they aren't, Hoyoverse would make a redeeming arc like Wanderer had. Judging from Capitano's actions in the Archon quest, he definitely is playable but our Traveler still has doubts regarding Capitano. Traveler would also need to completely trust them somewhat or clear any doubts the Traveler have for the character to also be playable.
