The song starts with him saying; “yours is yours, mine is mine. Wola! That’s what you will hear, understand it. Look Mate, let’s talk Mate. Look Mate, Call Mate. Mate my younger sibling, what do you want me to tell you? If you don’t want, calm your heart. The song is all about him advising his younger sister called Mate to go to school. He wants her to calm her heart because whatever she wants she will get if she goes to school. “Litura mutjima” direct translation is “calm your heart”/“calm down” is used for someone that is impatient.
