Caprese Salad with Pesto Sauce

Caprese, or Caprese Salad is a popular traditional Italian dish or antipasta. Cabbage salad is made with fresh tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper.
It is believed that the salad was created to symbolize the Italian flag, alternating with red, green and white elements on the plate.
