My favourite part about Capstone videos is how close they lie to the line of maximum human potential - and that's clear through those jumps that end up as nasty bails. Even among the triumphant successes, very few of them are done cleanly, there's just too much impact for elegance. Balls to the wall stuff.

Too much impact to end up clean for /these guys/. There's lots of people out there actually training to attempt and succeed challenges cleanly and safely, but that's not the process here. It's a different objective. It's for the viewers as much as for themselves. They're conquering a mental battle, not gaining mastery of the challenge itself.

There was an enormous plyo that was pretty damn clean, but most of the rest of it was ragdolling or not quite clean due to how close to the limits they are each time. I preferred Swarm personally, but there's no doubt there were huge sends in this one. Just sorta turns the clock back to the early days before skill and technique took over, back when everything was massive height drop with huge balls needed, but little by way of finesse. I kinda like some tech in the mix these days. Not to say Dom and crew don't have finesse, just that it's not really in evidence in this particular video. This is big sends with a fairly mixed bag of outcomes, and probably a few fractures!
