@@johnnyriley ehh. Iron man was pretty great.
@johnnyriley3 жыл бұрын
@@alexmaxwell7126 For sure the first Iron Man was great. I remember seeing it in theaters in the 5th grade. I watched it with my dad while my mom and my sister watched another movie in another theater so my dad and I watched all of the credits for that first Iron Man, and it was so weird seeing that after credits scene because the theater was totally empty by that point. Captain America was amazing not just because of the movie itself (and I'm a sucker for WW2 history) but because the MCU was gaining a lot of momentum by that point. I was going into my freshman year of highschool when Captain America hit the big screen. After football summer workouts, me and a bunch of my friends went to the theaters and watched Captain America. The real difference for me was remembering the hype between the two movies. Also the after credits scene for Captain America was the first trailer reveal for the First Avengers movie. I watched every MCU film in theaters from the 5th grade up to my senior year of college (with Endgame). It really puts a smile on my face thinking about all of the friends that I went to the movies with over the years. How some friends come and go and how some things stay the same.

@arthur.nunes.0102 жыл бұрын
@@ajbrown. dude? It's not that hard to find a poor mcu movie both because of script or because of cgi. All of recent marvel movies (except for dr strange that has stunning visual effects despite the third eye on the forehead) has the same weak plot, out-of-time jokes and poor cgi. They found out the formula to easy money and since then are just doing ctrl+c ctrl+v Lemme give you an example: Iron man (2008) and ant man (2015) If you look well, they have the same traits: - two geniuses that revolutionizes the world with their creations (stark with his armor, hank with his pym particles) - both have an envious guy interested on his creation - they have a villain who wears a similar suit and has the same powers
@ajbrown.2 жыл бұрын
@@arthur.nunes.010 if using the same base for a story is lazy or poor writing then you might as well chalk up all of the iron man films cause while they are good they still tell the same story as the previous film. ant man is a fan favorite and if lazy script gets you a trilogy for a non popularized character then maybe the should’ve done the same with some of their early projects. if i’m not mistaken some of the worst mcu movies are from the beginning ie: thor, the incredible hulk, thor: the dark world. ever wonder why the completely changed thor for ragnorak? because they realized how poorly they had written him and the stories in thor 1 and 2. they just straight up gave up on hulk because they wrote him horribly after avengers 1 i’m a huge mcu fan but the early mcu was just not as good as it is now. the cinematography on movies such as shang-shi, eternals, spider-man nwh, and dr. strange and the mom are just unmatched.
@arthur.nunes.0102 жыл бұрын
@@ajbrown. @SoloAJ i'm sorry bud but i really can't let you tell the mcu phase 4 is unmatched. It's so far the weakest (except for nwh but it only made all of that success because it appeals for nostalgia and fanservice, even being well made) but i think it's due to the affection with the characters we developed during the phase 1-3 journey. I think ragnarok is bullshit, i didn't like the way they took the movie, we both know they only did changed his personality and the movie style because thor 2 first movies didn't make as much money as they wanted because the only few people who like thor is women who think he is hot. What you said about ant man is just what i hate the most about marvel: it's good to make a not so famous character relevant but they do it all the time with every single fucking movie. I think the director has a piece of guilt because james gunn introduced guardians of the galaxy on a fantastic way, on a way i think mediocre directors such as john watts (spider man) and peyton reed (ant man) would never do I didn't know what you meant but i hated iron man 2 and 3, but the first one was a masterpiece I also liked hulk 2008, and probably they didn't make another hulk movie because who owns hulk's rights is actually Universal, not marvel/disney
