the reason why cap never helped form the avengers cause this was the comic adaptation of marvel when the avengers formed it was Ant-Man (Hank Pym) Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) Hulk Thor Iron Man cap was added to the team like the 4th issue because he was frozen when the team was formed lmao
