The plan was for them to make the plane autopilot no matter what. If he would had jumped out not only would he die because of the temperature out there but people would have been killed. You know how cold it is out there? Who knows which option would had got to Cap. Him dying of starvation or him freezing to death first.

Huboons America is a country most countries look up to for help, because terrorist are screwing them up. If America doesn't help them, that that just puts that country to shame, America has been like that before. Bullied by Britain, until they had a rebellion. Imagine the pain walking and seeing someone being bullied, and then remembering it happening to you. It's like Steve Rogers is America. Born on July 4th. Was bullied, then became mighty. Then when he sees someone bullying someone, he fights the bully, because he looks after the little guy, like he use to be. Zesty Tacos Could be a good conclusion to his story.

+Maxine think about it. Cap's apparent death eventually led to Peggy and Howard founding shield. Without Cap being present during those years, shield may never have been founded, therefore no avengers, and many of the global outbreaks that have happened thus far would likely have resulted in even greater damage, if not ending with world domination.
@Salinas93ify8 жыл бұрын
If Steve went back in time after Infinity War Part 2 he could return a day after his apparent death in 1945. There would then be two of him, his frozen body set to be found in 2012 and his time traveling self. With Cap around in the aftermath of WW2 he could assist in the foundation of SHIELD and even stop HYDRA early on with knowledge that they grew inside SHIELD. The events after Iron Man should stay the same but the major problem is Iron Man would know Captain America(time traveling version) lived on and that his original frozen body is still out there. They would need to revive him so he can time travel to the past. Soo much confusion.
@rootbeer5438 жыл бұрын
+Anthony Salinas yeah I think it's just too much confusion than its worth. haha Beside, it's kind of a good story in my opinion. Sometimes things don't go as planned, sometimes you don't get the happy ending you expect, but that doesn't mean you won't get a happy ending, just takes time sometimes. There's always going to be a part of Cap that regrets the fact that he never got to have a future with Peggy, but then there's a part of him that knows he has to leave that idea behind if he wants to be happy, but he's not sure how to do that. He's in a world that he's just started adjusting to. He's missed 70 years of this world, he "died" the only one of his kind. He was the only super hero. People looked to him to fight their battles. Now he's in a world where there's a whole bunch of people just like him, and instead of a world that idolizes him like during WWII, he's now in a world where people don't know what to think of these super powered people. Leaves a very complex and interesting character for Civil War. Can't wait to see where the MCU takes him from here.

Colonel Phillips was sad as Peggy was when the communications channel got broken when Captain America hit the ice. He felt like not only he lost a good soldier but he felt like he lost a son.
@conniewinchester10148 жыл бұрын
In my opinion this is the sadness scene in cinematic history. Having to live without each other, that's the worst hell I can imagine. It breaks my heart every time I watch this movie. Probably because Steve and Peggy were my favourite Marvel ship.

@daringdarius56865 жыл бұрын
@@babatundenigarianprince9068 Even with the superhuman strength Steve has, the plane was going beyond terminal velocity. It's one thing to jump out of a car, or even a train. Another thing to jump out of a stealth bomber whose speed isn't going horizontal (parallel) with the grounded, but instead plunging vertically into ice, not to mention that without being able to stay in the plane until the last few seconds to correctly guide it into the water, the plane may end up exploding and "jumping out" wouldn't really help at all. Ironman mk42 and prior wouldn't have survived this crash (this is not accounting for the fact that he can fly/use a parachute). Hulkbuster, later versions of Ironman and Hulk probably could survive the crash. Thor? maybe. Steve? He's just some guy from Brooklyn ;(

@Josh D naw, the wind IS blowing superhard. Steve is just that good
@daringdarius56865 жыл бұрын
@Josh D No, being "good" means superhero poses and shiet. Like how in Star Wars, sound doesn't travel through empty space, yet people excuse all the "noises" and "explosions" in the battles because of how epic they are, how "good" they are and honestly if you take away the noise, you get the same end result, just not as cool Wind whipping in through the broken window is just another "good" thing that can be overlooked in that scene.

ENDGAME SPOILER!! I’m so happy for Steve I believe that the dance at the end of the movie symbolizes that the war was over for Steve and he finally got to have the dance with Peggy. He belonged in the 40s but found himself in the present and he always talked about letting go but he could never let go of her. It was that ending scene that really made me tear up because i thought he was never going to dance with Peggy and to see it in theaters was a tear jerker

The look that Colonel Phillips gives when seeing Peggy is the same as a father realizing his daughter is in love and such. But also, gives the look of sadness that a father gives when someone close to the family is about to pass away :(.

At the end of Captain America: Winter Soldier, there was a deleted scene of Peggy that was supposed to be shown after the credits. Instead, they showed Bucky at the Smithsonian. In the scene, Peggy was on a cruise ship. Late at night when most people on the ship were asleep, Peggy, wearing a white night gown with her gray hair flowing in the wind, walked to the back of the ship. She held a necklace in her hand and looked at it for a moment and then threw it into the ocean. The big jewel in the necklace had a glow to it. It's believed to be an Infinity Gem. Peggy is then seen laying in her bed. It appears she may have died in her sleep. You then see B&W images of the battles of WWII. You then see a young Peggy walking into the bar from the first Captain America film. The bar is filled with deceased soldiers including Colonel Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones) and Captain America's squad The Howling Commandos. Everyone is drinking, laughing and having a good time. Peggy approaches a large staircase. At the top of the staircase is a young Steve Rogers. He turns around and smiles at her. Peggy walks up the stairs to be with him. They look into each others eyes, smile and kiss. All of the people are looking at them and applauding.
