The bizarre thing is that Rocket doesn't even know what a raccoon is. When he was one, he didn't know what the word meant, and after he was modified to be what he is now, no one told him the name of what he used to be. He doesn't find out until he's back on the High Evolutionary's ship in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and sees the plaque on the cage where he used to be kept, which says "Procyon Lotor. North American Raccoon." Which then ties back into the "Guardians' Inferno" music video, where interstellar pop star Zardu Hasselfrau (who bears an uncanny resemblance to David Hasselhoff) sings the lines "Getting down and dirty with a Procyon Lotor: got no people skills, but he's good with motors. That weird thing by his side's an infantilized sequoiya; see them walking by, people say, "Oh, boy-a". They ask me why I'm bringing a baby into battle, that's really irresponsible, and getting them rattled. I say, "Give me a break, get offa my back, damnit! I didn't learn parenting: my Daddy was a planet!"" Zardu Hasselfrau, strange visitor from another planet, with musical abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Able to change the course of mighty nations and break the Berlin Wall with his bare . . . hands. Disguised as human singer David Hasselhoff, he fights a never-ending battle for Tunes, Justice, and the Watch of the Bay.

I have a headcanon that during the night where Ultron appeared, when they were drinking and seeing who can lift Thor's hammer. In my mind, Steve wasn't the only one that night that could lift it aside from Thor, Natasha would have been able to if she tried, or at least inch it. She didn't because she didn't want to know the answer to that. Also yes, headcanon. Not saying anyone should agree, just what I believe. She had done some bad things in the past but that's not how the spell on the hammer works. She is the type to do anything for others/her team, even sacrificing herself without much hesitation. She and Steve (Atleast in the MCU storyline, not talking about the comics) are very pure and dedicated good people trying to do what is right at all times. Even during Civil War she played on both teams because she was always trying to do what was right, initially joining Tony because she thought that was right but also helping out Steve on the airport when she thought that was the right move. I love her story arc and would have loved seeing more from her, she is fantastically written and deserves to be an avenger, even without powers. She's one of the best!

Basically Marvel should have got the two guys who wrote this on permanent contract to write all their movies. Think how great Marvel could still be if they had.
@Cloud-dt6xb3 ай бұрын
Problem with that is that the two had been around since Captain America First Avenger so had the same burn out that the Russo brothers had. So them needing a break after both Infinity War and Endgame was completely justified.

@@TheSpecialPlumsEveryoneKnows To be fair, she had another movie for herself, and she probably wanted to quit the role after almost 10 years of doing the same character. Even Dave Bautista wanted to stop being Drax because it was hard to stay in shape. Same goes for Scarlett. Too much expectation for women to look like she does.

I really thought her death was a master stroke in story telling. She knew her past and knew she couldn't make up for it. Her sacrifice was a fine and worthy death.

I like how ant man was able to help figure out the time travel by using the quantum realm but he needed bulk and iron man’s help.

It's too bad they kept having him play Scott as a dumbass. He was an engineer who became a whistleblower and went to prison for it. He became a goofball to survive there. They should have shown him in at least one movie becoming an engineer again and using his mind. I was so upset with Paul Rudd's portrayal of Scott in _Quantumania_ that when I saw the trailer with him in _Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,_ I wasn't happy. But they took out the scene from the trailer of his maniacal laughter for some reason.

Telling her "no one has to do this" is kind of silly, it's not like all the bad guys that the Avengers were set up to fight don't exist anymore, on average there's 50% less sure, but there absolutely does need to be someone to run it all.

I don't know if marvel films will ever be as great again as they were at this time. Then the pandemic came and everything changed for the worse.

This is the writers realizing they’ve painted themselves into such a impossible corner, that the only way out of it is just to create a time machine and go back in time and change it.

@anjelica9487 ай бұрын
I thought about that too (bc I dye my hair a lot), and I guess she kept up with the blonde for two or three years after the snap, and then just decided to hell with it and let it grow. I did that during the pandemic. I was considered an essential employee, and I was so damn busy and everything was shut down, I just gave up on keeping up with it after a while.

Something I don't think many people talk about in this scene, is the tone that Steve and Natasha have when Scott comes up on the feed. This isn't just a case of "someone who was considered dead is now alive" this is someone that Steve and Natasha both recognized who they haven't seen in OVER 5 years. Like Scott said, the last time they encountered each other was in Civil War at the airport, and typically every person in the Avengers has contact with each other, they use space holograms, phones, text messages, and even emails from a raccoon as Natasha says in order to communicate stay up to date and everything. But Scott is one of the few they've never had full contact with, I don't even remember how Sam got in contact with "mr tic-tac". So for Steve and Natasha to be shocked that the guy- who the last time they saw him he was giant and throwing a wing of an airplane at them. Was considered dead and now be alive must've been an extreme joyful emotion from them for someone that they barely even know.
