Great overview! I think Sam is crazy good into the attrition metas, so against Guardians he is really good. The ability to hide behind a piece of terrain on a point charge throw and move back is also really strong. I think another character that is overlooked as a splash for Sam is Black cat. She has a cheap stagger, loves free movement for her steal and is surprisingly tanky. If you haven't tried her I would strongly recommend it.

I've heard a lot of people suggest Cat under Sam, she's a really solid model and does appreciate a lot of what he offers so I totally see why, I'll have to try it out in a proper sam spam list at some point
