"Captain Hook" - The hunt for a LONG spurred 5-year old gobbler!

Unlike whitetail bucks with their unique antlers, turkeys can be extremely difficult to identity as individuals. In the case of long spurred gobbler named, Captain Hook, there was no mistaking him from the rest of the flock!

That's really cool!!! Since 2016 I've been blessed with three limb hangers. 1 1/2", 1 9/16" and 1 3/8". There is nothing that is more challenging than outwitting an old Tom.

What an absolute GIANT!! Great footage. Did you notice since it was slo mo that Captain actually jumped the string slightly as the bow went off and the arrow was on the way? You don't see that too often!

Fabulous bird congrats. We target birds all the time, this year I targeted a melinistic Tom, double beard , very rare bird, and was successful.
