Carol ended up being one of the most honest, spontaneous and un-superheroistic characters of the MCU (reasons why she could've been so much more than a plot device in other movies) and these scenes actually were great. I just wished to see a little more character building towards her struggles and a better writing for a movie I was so hyped for. Really, rarely a standalone MCU project hyped me anymore and this one gave me hype before watching, Doctor Strange and Ragnarok being the only ones to really get me since Phase 2 started (wasn't expecting much from Homecoming and Winter Soldier but damn...) Brie needs more screentime in the MCU, she's perfect pitch for the role
