I love these little Flywoo drones. I have the 1.6 Baby Quad and the Cinerace20 v2 (beautiful LEDs and I usually don't care about shiny stuff). I do wish their qc was just a bit better as both my drones came with small issues but once fixed, these things are so much fun. Powerful enough to fly where I take my 5"s but can just as easily rip them inside on a rainy day. I don't need the Venom hex but I am so tempted just because it's cool.

A little too glowing of a review, considering how little it was pushed to do. Nick Burns gave it a really good run around and found it to have strange and unpredictable motion, most likely due to those 2 downward facing props. He felt it got sucked into dives.

@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
Not really.... Rewatch those vids and you'll see reviews go from GOOD, REALLY GOOD, AMAZING GOOD, INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC GOOD. You are probably also unaware that unlike other KZbin channels, mine is large due to the fact that I pick all the items I review which is why this channel is so darn popular (I also take the time to answer questions and interact with viewers). If you want negative reviews, then you have to go to the SMALL channels because they unfortunately believe making negative reviews brings viewers. It works like this... I can review a PORSCHE and say it is great and mention the poor fuel mileage, or I can review the same PORSCHE and take the entire video complaining about the fuel mileage. I've been flying drones since 2013 so I can pick a winner. So when I review an FPV drone, I only review the BEST ones.... you'll never see me review a CRAP FPV drone. However, you will see me review a CRAP CAMERA DRONE and when that occurs, those videos are funny because I just keep making fun of the drone. If you think in the year 2022 that there are terrible FPV drones on the market, then you will have to look very hard for them. The only poor drones you'll find in 2022 will still be the camera drones and I do try and avoid the CRAP ones, but every now and then I pick something I expected to be good and it turns out to be less than I expected.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Fair enough, I follow you and believe me I want fairness. How much time flying some has or whatever really matters zero to me. How big or small a channel is does not either and in fact, I find small/humble channels very appealing as they tend to be pretty honest with their feet on the ground. What matters to me is CONSISTENCY AND UNBIAS. I find it very hard to believe a review when the target has sent someone a product "free of charge" the fact is that 9 out 10 of these will always sway on the side of the vendor. Maybe it is one of those "perception is reality" type of things. Still, I like your channel and find it entertaining.

@kibbycabbit2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can. If your transmitter is a DJI brand, you can order from Flywoo and make sure drop down menu for Receiver choice is set to "None". No receiver enables your DJI transmitter and DJI goggles to connect to this quad directly.
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
Frenggan, your DJI FPV Googles will work with the FPV Hobby but you first have to go into the menu of the goggles and change the transmission type (it is under the ABOUT menu) then power off and on your goggles. Unfortunately if you have the GREY remote that came with the DJI FPV, that is not an RC Hobby remote so it has no ability to talk to any receiver on the planet other than the one in your DJI FPV, so it can't be used. You'd require one as shown in my video or you could get the BLACK DJI FPV REMOTE, but then you are really limited as to what receivers you can connect to.

Which one do I choose? The Flywoo webpage doesn't help.
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
The answer is… you are doing it wrong. The manual binding method via power on off is the simplest for newbies. You add battery power and as soon as you see ANY light, remove power, do it again & on the third time leave it plugged in, you have 30 seconds to bind, so have your ELRS transmitter BIND option selected, then activate it within the 30 second window. For the other methods, they can’t be explained here. Suggest watch Joshua Bardwell’s ELRS tutorials.

I'm interested in this drone but I feel this video could be improved on. Let me explain. 1. You mentioned it is low noise but I can hear it quite loudly although it is next to you. I feel when it comes to low noise if the level (noise) is measure3d say if the drone is100 ft in altitude. I feel it's more important if the public can hear it at 100 feet, or 200 ft. 2. While you mention that it flies quite stable, the video shows the drone bobbing up and down and sideways I think this is because of movement from the joysticks otherwise it looked unstable to me. 3. You mentioned that the transmission is 20 miles and that you will not go that far with your fPV googles But I thought the fPV is connected to the controller only 2 feet away 4 ore than the transmitter range what is the flying range of the drone with that small battery, i doubt the drone can get anywhere near 20 miles. I feel the content could have been less and put other lesser important topics for a follow up video, such as to mention about flimsy lets and blade guards. Thank you for the video and I hope my feedback is well taken. Keep up the good work.
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
Some answers to help you out: 1. Noise is subjective. Low noise on an FPV drone is difficult to achieve since these are not beginner drones like GPS Camera drones from DJI or AUTEL. Motors are super powerful and props need to be agressive for flight, so there is always prop noise. 2. In the world of FPV, which is the ADVANCED drone hobby, there is no GPS and no beginner settings like on GPS Camera drones from DJI, Autel, etc. This is why you can never take your hands off the controls & you have full control of every axis with no assistance from the drone. So for people trying FPV for the very first time there is a stability mode, but it is not stability like you are thinking, it is stability that will stop the drone from flipping over. 3. ELRS is the receiver and with an ELRS transmitter you can go 20 miles or more. VIDEO is separate. Again you seem to be thinking about the beginner GPS Camera drones where they are designed for beginners and you are stuck with the batteries, controller, receiver and transmitter you get with no options to modify. Please do me a favour and watch my video series CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS. I can tell you are very lost & that video will certainly help you out.
