The letter was from Amaranta to Wonda - she said "i will be the sister you could never be" - and is basically an old rival of the smith who is taking on what she feels should have been Wonda's legacy. She signed it with an arena signet and her own initial. It wasn't from Wanda the Warsmith.

What if he was kidnapped by the Dark Bretheren for this very reason? What if the reason the Cap’n can’t arrive to the living world is because he is trapped by a large sea creature? A large sea creature he has been battling through his whole life. Perhaps Merrick is being tasked with killing [pause for dramatic effect] the crocodile that ate Captain Hook!

3:55 it wasn't Wanda that sent the "hate mail" to Wonda, it was Amaranta that sent the hate mail. Also, it actually kinda does make sense for Amaranta to be blamed for DeMarco's death, since from the characters' view, Amaranta hated DeMarco's guts and went into hiding when he did die. So I don't think we got "lore regged"

From what I understood from the Forgotten Journals, Wanda nearly went ballistic when she found out Flameheart captured her sister. It seemed as if deep down, she still cared about her somewhere. So it wouldn't make sense for her to be sending her threats like that.

It has to be either him but in the sea of the damned he is either manipulating us into achieving his goals by helping free jack sparrow, or he has forgotten about his life whilst staying there. However, there is a good chance that he is genuinely unseen as of yet and that he will emerge as an unforeseen threat to take on both us and flameheart.

Tiny-teeny mistake Captain, it was amarantha who sent the letter to wanda's sister Wonda, not Wanda. There is Amarantha signature and it clearly tells of an invented (by Amarantha) rivalry between herself and Wonda for spot at Wanda's fireplace.

The ending cutscene was laughably flawed. I counted three ways that we could have entered to the sea the damned and saved Merrick. But, plot armor is plot armor Also, Belle was not helpful at all. -She makes you do all the work, -Refuses to help you solve a mystery until you solve it -Takes the credit for you doing all the work when confronting the masked stranger -Says she needs time to think after we see Merrick being held hostage for some reason instead of warping us immediately after them. -At the end of the voyage acts like she triumphantly won -Doesn't have a shred of guilt for letting Merrick get kidnapped

It is possible that Graymarrow could be Cap'n? I know he is captain of Twisted Horn but we never seen that ship and it could be renamed. Graymarrow was one of the first crews who arrived on SoT, he knows a lot about magic and curses, he is seen as champion by skeletons and he is also responsible for a lot of things in the SoT. Graymarrow could also wanted to get on Shores of Gold not because of the gold, but Rathbone's skull. I know this is propably shot in the dark, but i feel like anything is possible at this point.

A dream scenario of mine would be this: Season 8 *Frozen Shores* A new, icy and cold section of the map in the northwest. New ice skeletons and frost skeleton lords These enemies takes more damage from fire and can perhaps be stunned by the lantern Some of these enemies wields new frost weapons that temporary freezes you/slows you down New weapon: Ice bombs (think fire bombs) but with the effect to temporarily freeze enemies and slow down other players and their ships New special chest: Frost chest (think thousand grogs, chest of rage) when put on the ship, the chest has a cooldown that freezes your mast, capstan etc. Needs to be avoided or removed/heated up by using your lantern New ice spots in this part of the map that will make your ship freeze over time and needs to be heated up by using your lantern on different parts on the ship (mast, capstan etc) to be able to sail away New skull dropped from frost skeleton lord that shoots ice (similar to the ashen lord skull) New frozen curse as the likes of gold hoarder curse, ashen curse etc The return of Flamebeard but in a physical shape this time around as a world spawn/boss in this area or in all of SoT

I think it was a case of if you died at any point while doing the adventure. It happened to me because I kegged a reaper brig that was coming at us, but if you didn't encounter any pvp then it's likely you didn't die during it (cause who would to those phantoms?)

I’ve been saying this forever now and I’m going to say it again, The cursed captain is the Cap’n and it makes complete sense, both people were betrayed by their crew, they’re both skeletons and as far as I’m aware the cursed captain is the only skeleton in the sea of the damned that we know. Not to mention we met him in the sea of the damned and if the cap’n is there than it totally makes sense.

My grasp of the lore is so bad, I only recently became aware that Wanda had even been a normal NPC originally. I'd just assumed that Wonda had always been the weaponsmith at Golden Sands, and the idea of the two being sisters was simply intended to add a little depth to the world. So I never had a prayer of predicting who the second Stranger was, and upon the reveal I remained much more focused on the fact that WE URGENTLY NEED TO GO SAVE MERRICK!

No, the Gold Hoarder is cursed. The Ferryman has the power to judge the souls who enter the ferry, if someone evil like the Gold Hoarder did go to the ferry, the Ferryman would imprison them forever. That's why Flameheart never went to the ferry, his soul was bound to his remains and was unleashed. If he died and went to the ferry, he would've been trapped forever.
